It's Friday Jr. and we're back with more dingers. Small slate in the MLB today, but I've got two hitters I'm locked in on.
Shoutout to Yordan Alvarez for getting us back into the positive on Tuesday, now let's see if we can stack a few units as we head into the weekend.
The cheat sheet makes it a lot easier when I run through the stats I'm looking at and as always, hit me up on X if you've got more questions.

Today's Dingers

Shea Langeliers Home Run (+240) | Lucky Rebel
We're kicking it off with Shea Langeliers of the Athletics. Langeliers has been incredible this year. He's leads the team with 14 home runs, sits 2nd in runs scored, RBI and he's batting .286 on the year with a .531 SLG.
Langs has been even better on the road this year and against left handed pitching. On the road Langeliers' batting average drops to .254 but 8 of his 14 home runs have come outside of Sutter Health Park.
Against left handed pitching, Langs is hitting .310 on the year with a .586 SLG, 19.6% BRL and 50% HH. He's got just 4 home runs against left handed pitchers but that's because only 58 of 224 plate appearances were against lefties.
On the bump for Chicago is Shota Imanaga. He's been struggling this year, recording a 4.50 ERA and allowing 1.7 HR/9. Imanaga's most recent start came in St. Louis. He went 5 innings, gave up 5 hits, 5 earned runs and 3 home runs.
Imanaga's now given up 3 home runs in back to back games and 10 of the 13 home runs he's allowed have come in his last 5 games. Shota's been good against righties, allowing them a .214 BA, but 9 of the 13 home runs have come against right handed bats.
In terms of pitch mix, Imanaga relies heavily on a mix of his splitter, 4-seam and cutter; all pitches Langeliers hits for power.

Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+285) | Lucky Rebel
Of course we're going back to Yordan. He's 2nd in the MLB in home runs this year, he's got the 2nd best SLG, wOBA and ranks 1st in ISO. Oh and he went 4/5 last night without hitting a home run.
At Daikin Park this year, Yordan's batting .366 with a .714 SLG and 10 home runs. He's been absolutely blasting the ball in front of the home crowd and after a night like last night; he's incredibly due.
Yesterday, it was Paul Skenes on the mound for Pittsburgh. Yordan flew out during his first at bat, but recorded a single on ever ensuing at bat and ended the day going 2/3 against Skenes.
Tonight for the Pirates it'll be Jared Jones, a young righty playing in just his second game of the year. Jones has 23 MLB starts under his belt, a career 4.36 ERA and he's allowing 1.4 HR/9 across these 23 starts. Jones didn't play at all in 2025 and in his first game back this year, gave up 7 hits, 5 earned runs and 2 home runs.
Yordan's batting .310 against right handed pitching this year with a .620 SLG and 55% HH%. This matchup is perfect.
