Today's Dingers

Ben Rice Home Run (+400) | Lucky Rebel
After ripping our hearts our yesterday, I'm going right back to the kid. Ben Rice is hitting .279 this year, he's hit 29 home runs and he's got a .598 SLG.
Rice has been the Yankees' best hitter with their Captain out of the lineup and today the Yanks will get a chance to complete the three game sweep of the Nationals.
Ben's hitting .296 on the road this year and 14 of his 29 home runs have come outside of Yankee Stadium. Rice's HH jumps to 48% on the road and his BRL sits at 19%. He's making great contact with the ball and he's been significantly better against righties.
Rice is hitting .291 against right handed pitchers this year and 21 of his 29 home runs have come against the same. His SLG jumps to .657, his BRL to 20% and his HH sits at 52% against righties.
On the bump for the Nationals is Cade Cavalli. Cavalli's played 19 games this year, he's got a 4.01 ERA at home, but it's his pitch mix that interests me. Against left handed bats, Cavalli's utilizing his knuckle ball fairly heavily and second to only his 4-seam fastball.
Rice is smashing both pitches this year and even more so against right handed pitchers. Lastly, this price just feels too good to pass up. Rice has the third most home runs in the MLB and he's top 10 in almost every offensive category.
At these odds, I have to push the button.

James Wood Home Run (+300) | Lucky Rebel
Could it get any chalkier than going right back to these two guys. Wood's been incredible this year and at just 23-years old, he's stamping himself as one of the best offensive players in the major leagues.
Wood's hit 27 home runs this year, 17 have been here at Nationals Park; where he also happens to be hitting .292 on the year. His SLG jumps to .625 at home this year, his HH to 55% and BRL to 25%. He's just been so good in front of the home crowd.
Wood's hitting .274 against right handed pitchers this year, with a 60% HH and 29% BRL. He's been on fire over the last month and today against Will Warren; I don't see it stopping.
Warren's started 18 games this year, he's got a 4.15 ERA and 8 of the 13 home runs he's allowed have been against left handed bats. He gave up 3 home runs in his last start and he's given up 6 total across his last four starts.
Warren's also given up 7+ hits in 4 of his last 6 games and tonight he's up against the hottest hitter in baseball. Wood's hitting .438 in the month of July, he' hit 6 home runs in just 9 games and he's got a SLG north of 1.000.
Warren loves going to his fastball against lefties, mainly his 4-seam fastball and his sinker. Wood's smashing both pitches this year and again, you just can't give me Wood at this price.
