Red Sox @ Rockies Analysis & Breakdown
The Red Sox finally got back in the win column last night, recording their first win since the All-Star Game. The Sox won 6-0, Devers busted out of his slump, and Tyler O'neill hit 2 home runs; it was quite the night.
Today the Red Sox and Rockies face off for a little matinee action at Coors Field. There's just something about an afternoon game at in Denver, it just feels so right.
Through two games we've seen a combined 6 home runs and 23 runs scored. Offense has been the theme of this series and there's no reason for that to change today.

Nick Pivetta has been lights out on the road this year.
Today we're rolling with a pitching prop. I love this matchup for Pivetta against a Rockies team that currently ranks third in total strikeouts and 4th vs righties.
Last night we saw Cooper Crisswell go 7 innings but finish with just 4 strikeouts. The Rockies as a team struck out 7 times but due to multiple missed 2-strike counts, he failed to cash his line.
Enter, Nick Pivetta. He's recorded 8, 10, and 10 strikeouts in his L3 games and he's found a way to elevate his game on the road. He's got a 2.58 ERA on the road, compared to 5.50 at home; also recording a 2.48 ERA in day games.
The Rockies have two of the top 10 leaders in strikeouts on their team, and both guys sit near the top of this lineup. It's been a bad year for the Rockies and it doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon.

Duran's seen two lefties on the mound in this series and tonight he'll face off with his first righty; Cal Quantrill.
Quantrill's posted a respectable 4.15 ERA this year but he's also surrendered 14 home runs across 20 starts. He's been fairly good against lefties this year, but with the way the Sox lineup came to life yesterday, I think he's in for a long day.
