Breakdown
Austin Gomber is on the mound for the Rockies today and I feel like that could be enough of a reason to bet this.
Soler has crushed lefties this year, and Austin Gomber has been one of the easier matchups for most hitters this season. Gomber has a 5.61 ERA on the road, and 19 total home runs allowed.
He's also given up 5+ hits in 10 straight starts and he's given up 6+ in 7 of his L8. He's been horrendous and Soler is here to take advantage.
Soler's hitting 0.272 with a 0.489 SLG. He's having a bit of a down year this year but against lefties is when we've seen Soler thrive. He's hit 3 home runs so far this month and he's batting 0.351 against the Rockies this year and 0.333 against Gomber in his career.
