2026 NBA Draft Best Bets: Value on the Board tonight in the Big Apple

The highly anticipated 2026 NBA Draft is here! The draft will be split in to two rounds spanning over two nights. The first 30 picks will be tonight and picks 31-60 will be tomorrow night. With so many great prospects in this year's class, I think that creates a lot of value in betting the draft.

2026 NBA Draft Best Bets & Analysis

Best Bet: Nate Ament Top 10 pick (-185) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Generally when it comes to betting I don't love laying -185 favorites. Usually a lot of risk and not much reward. While the same can be said about the draft because it's all speculation and guessing, usually I don't mind laying juice because there is a lot less variables. And I don't mind laying -185 in this market for a prospect as intriguing as Nate Ament.

For starters, he has conducted four pre-draft workouts with teams. Bulls, Clippers, Thunder, and Nets. Three of those four teams are picking in the top 10. Another thing is the raw skill set. He is nearly 6'11 with a jumper that is nearly impossible to block, he can handle the ball and is a terrific defender. When you can do all of those things in today's NBA, then I believe there is going to be a team that takes a chance on you.

Best Bet: Labaron Philon Under 17.5 (-130) draft position BetOnline

Will Labaron Philon Jr. be a lottery pick?

This draft has no shortage of guards. Peterson, Acuff, Brown, Wagler, Flemmings. All these guys are terrific. I think Labaron Philon Jr. from an offensive standpoint is just as good as about all of those guys.

He was 12th in college basketball this past season in points per game with (22.0). He Is a 3-level scorer and really improved his 3-point shot from his freshman year to his sophomore year.

What I love about Philon the most though is how he elevates his game when he plays the best competition. He scored 35 points against Michigan in the Sweet 16 and also scored 35 points against Arkansas in the regular season. He scored 20+ pts in 7 of the 11 games vs ranked opponents he faced this season. I believe there will be a team that sees his upside as a scorer and takes him before the 17th pick.

Best Bet: Team to draft Aday Mara: Oklahoma City +425 Bet Online

Ever since watching the Western Conference Finals between the Spurs and the Thunder I believe Sam Presti and OKC want Aday Mara. He is exactly what their team needs and what they embody.

When you think of OKC what do you think of? Defense. Toughness. Physicality. Mara gives you all of those. More importantly, he gives Oklahoma City more size and another body they can throw at Wemby.

Teams construct their rosters based on the teams they know they have to go through. What good is OKC going 64-18 every year if they can't beat the Spurs. We all saw how big of a liability Chet Holmgren was in that series vs San Antonio and how much he struggled on both sides of the ball. They need a big man like Mara to help them on both ends of the floor.

The Thunder have picks #12 and #17 in the first round tonight. We keep waiting for them to make a move at some point with all these picks or make a trade and I think that could be possible tonight. I love the value on Mara to OKC and think it's worth a bet.
