NFC Championship Game Prediction: Will the Eagles Fly High to the Super Bowl?

We have made it to the last weeks of the NFL season, and the Conference championship games!

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Fransisco 49ers will square off in the City of Brotherly Love to decide who is the Champion of the NFC and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

There will be drama galore and we're here to break it down for you!

In the battle of the NFC, who will come out on top and have a chance to lift the Lombardi Trophy??

Will it be Purdy in Philly?

All the talk the last 3 months in the Bay have been about the incredible rise of 7th Round rookie QB Brock Purdy and his sensational play.

Since taking over for Jimmy Garoppolo, Purdy is a perfect 7-0 and has led the Niners to 2 straight playoff wins.

One more win on Sunday and the legend will grow to historical heights. Purdy has answered the bell at every turn and has taken on every challenge week after week.

This will be a whole new challenge this week, as he faces the Number #1 passing defense in Philly and one of the best offenses in the NFL on the other side.

This isn't the first time Purdy and Eagles QB Jalen Hurts have faced off…the last one was in College and it was one for the ages.

This is their first battle on the NFL stage and what better place than the NFC Championship game.

Here is one more interesting nugget I came across in regards to the Hurts/Purdy comparison.

The Eagles lead the league in sacks at 70 so Purdy will surely be pressured, which he has been handling brilliantly.

It will be interesting to see if the Niners will bring extra pressure to get Hurts off his spot or just rely on Nick Bosa and Co. on the Defensive line to get pressure and force Hurts into tougher throws.

If Hurts has time in the pocket, things could get dicey for the Niners.

Will Hurts hurt the Niners?

Jalen Hurts has had an MVP caliber season and if he didn't have to sit out two games, would probably be the overall favorite to take home the award.

Either way, he had a stellar season, going 15-1 and leading the deadly attack in Philly.

His connection with WRs AJ Brown and DaVonta Smith is electric and his running ability in combination with RB Miles Sanders constantly puts the defense in stressful situations.

The 49ers are going to be challenged with this offense, no doubt, but are equipped to handle it…

It is strength on strength in Philly on Sunday afternoon and will be fascinating which unit comes out on top.

Prediction

The stars are going to be out in full on Sunday in Philly and I can't wait to see how this one plays out.

I know the Eagles are hard to go against in this one but I have been a huge fan of the 49ers this season.

With the addition of Christian McCaffrey and a healthy Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, the Niners are going to come out ready to go in this one and keep this one close.

I have thought since Week 14 that they are my favorites to win the Super Bowl and I am not backing off of that now.

Give me the Niners to cover but I think they win outright in Philly to go to the Super Bowl.
