Packers vs. Commanders Prediction, Picks, Props – NFL Week 7

The 3-3 Green Bay Packers travel to our Nation's Capitol to take on the 2-4 Commanders in a Week 7 NFC showdown.

The Packers got embarrassed last week at home against the New York Jets, dropping to 3-3 and second in the NFC North.

Aaron Rodgers hasn't looked dynamic or accurate at all to start the season, with some people beginning to question how much he actually has left in the tank.

On the other side, the Commanders gutted out an ugly win last Thursday night against the lowly Bears.

They didn't celebrate long, though, as they found out that starting QB Carson Wentz broke a finger on his throwing hand and will be out for 4-6 weeks.

The Commanders are forced to turn again to backup Taylor Heinicke to lead them for the next month and hopefully keep the ship afloat.

Which one of these middle of the road teams come out on top on Sunday?

PREDICTION

With the Packers dropping one at historic Lambeau last weekend in fairly embarrassing fashion, I expect them to come out pissed off and ready to make a statement.

Couple that with the Commanders installing a new QB in Heinicke and this doesn't bode well for the Commanders.

I like Heinicke and think he will make some plays and move their offense, but the offensive line from the Commanders isn't very good and that could be a recipe for some bad turnovers in this one.

I am trusting Aaron Rodgers here to put up a vintage Aaron Rodgers game with the help of a big game from Aaron Jones and handle the Commanders on the road.
