I can't believe we're already going into Week 5. Feels like just yesterday I was complaining about baseball and counting down the days to Week 1. We've got a huge slate of games this so let's kick it off with my favorite; the Packers are in Los Angeles to take on the Rams at SoFi Stadium.

Packers @ Rams Analysis & Breakdown

Matt Stafford has struggled with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Last week we finally saw Jordan Love return to the field and boy did he show out. The Packers came out flat in the 1H, scoring just 7 points and missing 2 field goal attempts; eventually leaving 6 points on the table, points they desperately needed.

Green Bay would go into halftime down 28-7, Jordan Love threw 2 interceptions and the Packers' offense looked terrible. The team that came out of the locker room for the 2H, was not the same team that came out for kickoff.

The Packers would score 22 points in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Vikings 22-3 in the 2H. Green Bay came up just 2 points short of tying the game, eventually losing the game 31-29, but holding the Vikings to just 3 points in the 2H.

The Rams come into this game having lost 3 of their first 4 games this year, coming into Week 5  off a road loss to the Chicago Bears. Los Angeles' offense is beat up right now, starting receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp are both still out with injuries, and now Demarcus Robinson could miss time this week.

Stafford has struggled without his top 2 targets this year, recording just 2 passing touchdowns to 2 interceptions through 4 games this year. Now the Rams face off with the Packers', the team that leads the league in interceptions.

The Packers are 2-2 looking for a win and to help close the gap between them and the Vikings, the Rams on the other hand, are just trying to tread water. It'll be a battle in LA, so strap in for a fun one.

Josh Jacobs is averaging 4.6 yards per carry this year.

Jordan Love made his return last week and the Packers immediately starting slinging the ball once again. When you have a talent like Love under center, it makes sense to put the ball in his hands.

So why are we betting on Josh Jacobs? It's because this Rams defense has been terrible, just all over the field. Los Angeles ranks last in rush yards allowed per game and 27th in opponents yards per carry average (5 YPC).

The Rams are giving up roughly 131 rush yards per game to running backs and they've surrendered 5 rushing touchdowns on the year to the position.

Jacobs has been phenomenal in his time with the Packers, he averaging 4.6 YPC and 82.3 yards per game. He's yet to get into the endzone this year, but against this Rams team that ranks bottom 3 in points allowed, I think this could be the week we see Jacobs show out.

Jacobs has cleared this line just twice this year, but in a game the Packers should be playing with a lead, I love this spot.

The Packers look good, call me crazy but this team could easily be 4-0 right now even with the Jordan Love injury. A few lapses from their defenses and a couple of bad interceptions from Mr. Love and here they are, sitting at 2-2 going into Week 5. 

Green Bay's going to need to start stringing a few wins together if they hope to catch the Vikings in the NFC North and secure a spot in the post-season. The Bears are 2-2, the the Lions are 3-1, and the Vikings are still undefeated; it's time for the Pack to lock in.

Last week in Love's return, he did throw 3 interceptions but he also threw for 389 yards, 4 touchdowns and almost led the Packers to a 21-point comeback win. The Packers were without starting CB, Jaire Alexander, last week and could be once again this week.

This Green Bay defense is formidable and outside of a couple of bad plays have looked great. They lead the league in interceptions they're coming off a game in which they got absolutely cooked by Sam Darnold.

They locked in for the 2H of that game, giving up just 3 points in the entire 2H of last week's game with Minnesota. I'm expecting the Packers to bring that same kind of intensity to this week's game at SoFi.
