Avalanche vs. Golden Knights Prediction, Odds, Picks – 10/22

The Colorado Avalanche, fresh off a home loss against the Kraken last night, travel to Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights.

The Avalanche haven't quite hit their stride, starting 2-3 and losing 2 straight games at home.

The Golden Knights on the other hand have come out the gates flying, starting 4-1 and looking like the team of a couple seasons ago.

Who will come out on top of this star-studded Saturday night battle?

PREDICTION

I find it hard to believe that the Avs will start the year off 2-4 but Vegas is showing that they are back to playing their best hockey and are tough to play at home.

The Avs are on a back-to-back but it wasn't a tough roadtrip from Denver to Vegas so that doesn't factor in too much here.

I am not sold on a side but I do think both of these teams will want to score and score a lot. I like the value on the over and am going to stick with both teams to come out firing tonight.

The value on players to get a point are too juiced for me to take individually, but I do love one that you could pair with another prop you like from any other game to get a small plus money two teamer.

VALERI NICHUSHKIN POINT (-166)

As I said, this is too juiced for me to take individually, but I am going to keep riding with Valeri until he slows down.

He has a point in every game to start the season and is so involved in the Avs offense, especially on the Power Play.

If you don't mind drinking the juice, I love this spot.
