Both of these teams have their sights set on the postseason as the last 2 months of the NHL season is beginning to heat up.

The Avalanche have put many of their early season woes behind them and are picking up steam and getting healthy at just the right time.

The Avs have won 5 in a row and are 7-1-2 in their last 10.

Nathan MacKinnon (more on Nathan in a bit so keep reading) and Mikko Rantanen have been especially fantastic of late, both with 4+ goals in the last 5.
