A good matchup tonight between the Boston Bruins and the Carolina Hurricanes. Boston isn't having the ideal start to the season and Carolina is starting to cruise. The Canes come into this game red hot.

Carolina is 6-2-0 so far this season and are on a 4-game winning streak. This will be their 3-home game this season and they're 1-1 in the first 2 games. They just went 4-1 on their 5-game road trip as well.

For a team that has lived at the top of the Atlantic, the Bruins need to figure out what's going on. Luckily, it's very early in the season, but in another week – the season will be 25% over (already!).

We should see a good game here, but I'm riding with the Canes. Coming home after winning 4 straight on the road and on 2 days rest. I really like for them to control this whole game.

The Bruins really have a lot to figure out and against this fast, very defensive team – it's not going to be a game for corrections. Their offensive opportunities will get smothered by the Canes defense and prevent scoring chances.

If Boston can't shoot the puck, it's going to be a long game for them. Carolina isn't the kind of team that needs to spend the whole game on offense. They will make right on their chances and take leads.

For this game, I like Martin Necas to record 1 point. Necas has had a point in 4 straight games and in his last 6 out of 7 games. It will be juiced so pair it with Svechnikov for 2 or 3 shots on goal. I think he gets 3, but you can go with 2 to be safe for a little 2 teamer.
