Although neither of these teams have anything to play for, everyone will play for respect at the end. The Seattle Kraken head down to Cali to take on the San Jose Sharks. These 2 teams last met at the end of January and the Kraken won 6-2.

The Kraken are 32-38-6 this season and are 7th in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a win over the Canucks by a score of 5-0. Seattle is 4-4-2 in their last 10 games, 15-21-1 on the road and 10-10-2 in divisional matchups this season.

Lacking offense has been a problem this year. They rank 15th in goals scored and 22nd for shots on goal per game. Seattle only ranks 14th in shooting percentage and struggles on the power play, ranking 25th in the league.

It's not much better on defense. They rank 23rd in goals allowed and 18th in shots on goal allowed per game. They commit almost 4 penalties per game and rank 20th in penalty kill.

Goalie Joey Daccord is expected to get the start. He is 25-20-5 this season with a 2.66 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Daccord got the win back in January and only allowed 2 goals.

The Sharks are 20-45-10 this season and in last place in the Pacific Division. It's been a rough year for the Sharks, but a lot of hope with this young squad. They're currently on a 4-game losing streak and are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games.

At home this year, the Sharks are 12-24-2 this season and 4-13-3 in divisional matchups. Their offense ranks in the bottom of the league for goals scored and shots on goal per game. They don't shoot the puck well and their power play isn't good, but this is all expected for a team in the middle of a rebuild.

Guys like Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith give this team a bright future. They were able to get a decent goalie in Alexander Georgiev via trade. He just needs some help on the defensive end. They rank worst in the league for goals allowed and shots on goal allowed per game.

We are expected to see Georgiev in net tonight. He is 15-24-2 this season with a 3.31 GAA and a .876 save percentage. Like I mentioned, the guy needs some help on defense to play his best game, but time will tell this offseason. Let's check out the odds and get into the picks.

I'm going with goals in this one. We saw how many the Kraken put up last game vs the Sharks and that was almost the entire total! Both teams have crafty players on offense, even though they are not the best 2 teams in the league.

I expect Celebrini and Smith to be buzzing around out there. They have really added talent to this team and gives veteran guys like Tyler Toffoli room to make moves. They should be able to get 2 or 3 passed Daccord tonight.

We just need Seattle to click like last game to make this easy. Georgiev allowed 2 goals last game, and he didn't even start. Guys like Brandon Montour and Jaden Schwartz will be shooting for the back of the net again.

For props, I like for Toffoli and Celebrini to record 3 or more shots on goal. They both hit the mark in the last matchup, and both have consistently put puck on net. On the Kraken side, give me Brandon Montour for 3 or more shots on goal. He absolutely dominated the last game, scoring 2 goals.
