Detroit is 30-27-6 this season and are 5th in the Atlantic Division. They're on a horrible 5-game losing streak and are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. This team is just about .500 on the road with a 14-12-3 record but struggle in divisional matchups going 7-9-1 this season.

The Red Wings have a decent core of offenders. Larkin, DeBrincat and Kane can all be dangerous when clicking. The Senators are 32-25-5 this season and are 4th in the Atlantic Division. They come into this game after winning back-to-back games and are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. Ottawa is good at home with a 18-9-2 record but are only 7-8-1 in divisional games.

Ottawa ranks somewhat middle of the road for offense. They're 17th in goals scored, but 6th in shots on goal per game. Although 6th in shots, they rank 27th in shooting percentage, so they have trouble hitting the net. The Sens rank 14th in power play conversion as well.

One defense, they definitely hold their own. Ranking 10th in goals allowed and 15th in shots on goal allowed per game, the Sens definitely keep their opponents from running amuck on them. They don't have the best penalty kill, ranking 21st and that poses a problem as they commit almost 5 penalties per game.

In net, we should see goalie Linus Ullmark. He is 15-11-3 this season with a 2.73 GAA and a .908 save percentage. Ullmark didn't play last matchup, but he did the one prior and got a 1 goal win. Let's check out the odds and get into the picks.

I definitely like for the Senators to keep it going. The Wings are struggle really hard and this isn't a great spot for them to bounce back. Ottawa is too good at home and are coming off a home OT win over the Rangers where the place was rocking.

Goal, goals, goals – that's what we'll be rooting for as well. There was no value on the Sens moneyline and I do like this game to go over, so we're going to take both for plus money value. Not 100% sure if they cover the puck line so we have to find value.

For some props, I like for Moritz Seider and Tim Stutzle to both record 2 or more shots on goal for +160. Both guys have great history vs each other's team and both are hitting at almost 90% over their last 10 games.

Another play I like is Brady Tkachuk to score a goal for +130. He has scored in 5 straights games, including just coming off a 2-goal game vs the Rangers. Tkachuk scored in the last game between these 2 teams as well.
