The 2026 Oklahoma State Poker Championship will return to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa this May through another partnership with the RunGood Poker Series.
Players from across the Midwest and neighboring states will compete during the 11-day poker festival. The series runs from May 14 through May 24. Organizers expect another strong turnout after previous Oklahoma championship festivals produced impressive attendance numbers and prize pools.
The growing popularity of live tournaments and US online poker sites continues driving interest in regional championship events like this one.
2026 Oklahoma State Poker Championship Features Packed Schedule and Major Events
The Oklahoma State Poker Championship will take place inside Hard Rock Tulsa's poker room in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The schedule includes 19 trophy events covering several poker formats.
The headline attraction remains the $800 Oklahoma State Championship Main Event. Flight A starts on May 22, while Flight B begins on May 23. Qualifiers will return on May 24 for the final day.
Last year's championship festival delivered another major turnout at Hard Rock Tulsa. The 2025 Main Event generated a prize pool exceeding $450,000 and attracted a large regional field. The tournament further strengthened the stop's reputation on the mid-stakes circuit.
Meanwhile, the $400 Oklahoma State Monster Stack Championship should again draw one of the festival's largest fields. Deep starting stacks and slower blind levels typically appeal to recreational players and experienced grinders alike.
Mixed-game specialists will also target the $400 Oklahoma State Big O Championship and the $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. Those tournaments often attract smaller but highly skilled player pools.
Additionally, the $300 40-40-40 Trophy Event could become one of the schedule's hidden gems. The structure rewards versatile players because blind pressure increases steadily throughout the event.
The $200 Double Green Chip Bounty tournament also creates unique strategy dynamics. Players can earn immediate cash rewards for eliminations while building tournament chips simultaneously.
As a result, aggressive players often perform well in bounty formats. However, disciplined bankroll management still remains critical during knockout events.
Several local grinders and regional RGPS regulars should again headline the field. Experienced mixed-game players may also target the Omaha and Big O events for softer value opportunities.

RunGood Poker Series Strengthens Oklahoma Presence
The RunGood Poker Series continues expanding its influence across regional poker markets in the United States. The tour has become known for accessible buy-ins, strong structures, and player-friendly festivals.
RGPS also awards its signature rings and trophies at every stop. Many players now consider those prizes important achievements on the mid-stakes tournament circuit.
Several notable players have previously found success at Hard Rock Tulsa events. Local professionals and traveling grinders regularly target the stop because of its softer fields and strong turnout.
The championship schedule also creates opportunities for different player types. Recreational competitors can enter affordable nightly events, while seasoned professionals may focus on mixed-game championships and bounty formats.
Furthermore, the festival's timing could attract players traveling between major spring poker stops. That overlap should increase field sizes and boost overall prize pools.
The continued partnership between RGPS and Hard Rock Tulsa positions the Oklahoma State Poker Championship as one of the region's premier poker festivals. Interest should remain high as live poker and US online poker sites continue expanding nationwide.
