There's a four-game slate in the WNBA tonight and not schedule terribly. We head to the Las Vegas Aces taking on the Toronto Tempo at the Coco-Cola Coliseum. This is the first of three matchups between these two teams this season.
Las Vegas is 17-7 this season and third in the Western Conference. They come into this game off a bad loss to the Fever last Sunday. This is another example of the terrible scheduling with them being off for eight days. The Aces are 7-3 in their last ten games and 10-2 on the road this year.

Reigning MVP A'ja Wilson is having another dominating season. She is averaging a team high 25.5 points and also a team high 9.8 rebounds per game. No team really has an answer for her since there is so much talent around her.
Their offense is absolutely buzzing. They rank third in the league in points and rebounds per game and first in the league in field goal percentage and assists. If it's one thing, this team know how to move the ball around for open looks.

Toronto will try to break losing streak and stay afloat vs. Las Vegas

Tempo teammates Marina Mabrey and Temi Fagbenle both react after Mabrey hit a big three.
The Tempo are 10-15 this year and are fifth in the Eastern Conference. They come into this game on a two-game losing streak after a bad loss on Friday to the Dream. Toronto is 3-7 in their last ten games and only 6-9 at home this season.
This will be an extremely tough game for the Tempo. On paper, they are obviously completely outmatched vs. the Aces, but it really comes down to the talent. Guards Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes are the most tenured players on the team, so they'll need to lead the way.
This team's biggest problem is that they don't know how to play defense. They rank in the bottom of the league for rebounding and defensive rating. Toronto also doesn't protect the ball well, ranking eighth in turnovers per game.
Let's check out the odds and get into the Aces vs. Tempo picks.

Since these two teams have never met, one team has no idea what's in store for them. The Aces are such a powerful team, and the Tempo are still yet to take off their training wheels. When you see the spread, it's not a surprise and it's also very doable.
I see a definite double-digit win in this game. Las Vegas is going to run them up and down the court while making them force shots on offense. Between the Aces defense smothering them and their high talent offense, this is just a recipe for a blowout.
Give me A'ja Wilson to hit her points line which will probably be around 25-26 points. I see her having a huge game and putting up around 30, which will cause the blowout. She has been grubbing boards as well, so her PR is a great look too.
