More Commissioner's Cup games on tonight's slate. Always a fun time to watch them fight this out for that extra pay day and hey, who can blame them! It definitely cool to see them add this extra element to the season.
We have two games on our hands. The Toronto Tempo will play the Washington Mystics in our nation's capital in the early game, and the Golden State Valkyries will take on the Seattle Storm in the late game. One game may be tighter than the other
Like usual, I have three best bets for you. I dove in and found two from one team and another from a team up north. Let's get in to Friday's Best Bets in the WNBA.
Check out the odds for this matchup and other WNBA games at the best online sportsbooks.
WNBA Best Bet #1: Gabby Williams 16 or more points (-115)

Golden State Valkyries forward Gabby Williams throws her hand up after nailing a three-point shot.
Williams has been on fire her last two games and this is a great spot for her to keep it up. We're getting a relatively low line for a girl who just put up 29 and 27 points in each of her last two games. She's cleared the line in three of her last five games as well.
Gabby averages 15.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. She shoots 41.3% from the field and 39.4% from three-point range. Williams is a dog and seems to go on three game stretches of hitting her line before missing and tonight is the third game.
I like how big a part of this team she is because we know she's going to get the minutes, and her shooting volume is there. The Valkyries opened their season vs. the Storm and handled business with an 11-point victory. Williams didn't play well then and is due for a bounce back vs. her former team.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Nyara Sabally 11 or more points (-140)

Tempo teammates Nyara Sabally and Kiki Rice high five after the play.
Sabally has been such a pleasant surprise this year for Toronto. She has started all ten games this season and is averaging 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. This pick up for the Tempo from the Liberty is really paying off.
She has been playing really well her last three games. Sabally has hit this points line in all three games and played an average of around 27 minutes per game. Nyara has also hit this line in four of her last five games as well.
Expect Sabally to be battling down low against Iriafen and Austin. I think she holds her own and gets her points. She has played well against some tough teams, like her former team the New York Liberty, so tonight should be no different.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Kayla Thornton 6 or more rebounds (-120)

Golden State Valkyries' Kayla Thornton gets pumped up after hitting the bucket and getting the and-1.
It's been a nice welcome back for the Valkyries with Thornton. She got hurt and had her season cut short last season, so having her back is huge. Kayla is averaging 10 points and 5.4 rebounds per game on 38% shooting from the field and three-point range.
Thornton has been hitting this rebound line every other game her last four games. She is due to hit and playing a team where she had 8 rebounds vs. them earlier this season. I personally think that Thornton can out power the Storm's Dominque Malonga.
Seattle ranks in the bottom of the league for rebounds and offensive rebounds. There will be plenty of opportunities for her to get boards. I think we see a solid 15 point and 8 rebound game from her.
