We have a typical three game slate today in the WNBA. What's nice about this slate is the games are spread out all day, so we have games throughout the day. This slate has two really good games and one that's two lower ranking teams.
The first game on the slate in the second game of a back-to-back between the Indiana Fever and the Atlanta Dream. We all always love a good Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese matchup. After that, the Seattle Storm head to the desert to play the Phoenix Mercury.
To end the slate at night, the Dallas Wings will host the Chicago Sky. I dove in and found some gems I really like. Let's get into the Best Bets for Saturday in the WNBA.

WNBA Best Bet #1: Alyssa Thomas to record 9 or more assists (-115)

It hasn't been a great season for Phoenix, but Alyssa Thomas is still doing her thing. She is averaging 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.3 rebounds per game. Just shy of what became her normal triple double numbers from the past few years.
Despite the averages, she's been hot lately and dishing the ball. We're going to take her 9 or more assists for very good value of -115. She has hit this line in four games straight and seems to be finding her groove, even though the team is losing.
We all know what a dominate player she can be. I think we see her throw her weight around vs. a weaker Seattle team. She should be able to move around the way she wants, and her PRA is a great look as well. I expect Thomas to have a big game in what should be a winnable one as well.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Angel Reese to record 16 or more points (-110)

Normally we'd be talking rebounds when Angel Reese's name comes up. Today though, we're going for her points. Give me the 16 or more points for great value of -110. She has hit this in her last game vs. the Fever, who she is playing again today, and has hit in her last four out of five games.
Reese has really stepped up her offensive play as of late. Her rebounds have changed to the "mebounds" we all knew from last year (especially the year prior) and are resulting in more shots. She definitely has spent a lot of time working on her offensive game the past two years.
With the way she played last game vs. a team and player she hates, I see it again. Aliyah Boston didn't give Reese as much trouble as we would've thought and Reese led the game with 11 rebounds. Her 21 points didn't lead the game, but she was the leader on her own team.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Jessica Shepard to record 30 or more PRA (-120)

This chick is playing out of her mind. No one can seem to stop Shepard, and I think she's going to be a problem tonight. She is averaging 13.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game so far. Shepard has been a huge key to Dallas' success this season after being added in the off season.
She is coming off a game where she had hit her line then but would fall two short of this line. Jessica has cleared the 30 or more PRA in two of her last four games. The Wings did face the Sky earlier this season and she crushed the line, even having a triple double.
I like the matchup here as well as the history. She has been absolutely unstoppable and I'm riding the hot hand. Dallas ranks higher in the league for rebounds and assists per game which for the Wings, a lot of that is Shepard. This should be a solid bet with a good line that we clear.
