Just two-games tonight on the WNBA board. The Dallas Wings will play the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center, and the Chicago Sky will face the Phoenix Mercury at Mortgage Matchup Center. The earlier game is looking a little more exciting, but both will be tasty.
I dove in to see what kind of value I could find. We're heading back to some plays we've rode in the past, but we have to strike while the iron is hot! Let's get into the Best Bets for tonight in the WNBA.
Check out the odds for this matchup and other WNBA games at the best online sportsbooks.
WNBA Best Bet #1: Kahleah Copper to record 20 or more points (-125)

Phoenix Mercury guard Kahleah Copper drives the ball to the hoop around the defense.
This young lady is on an absolute tear. Copper is the leader of this Mercury team and responsible for this three-game winning streak. She is averaging a team high 20.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season and on fire right now.
Copper has hit her line in her last four games and her last six out of seven games. Keep in mind, those are all 20+ point performances, and one was 41 points. She is coming off a big 30-point game vs. the Storm on Thursday.
She will face her former team tonight which is always fun to watch. I don't see her taking her foot off the gas pedal and I don't see them team not continuing to feed her the ball. Copper outmatches Sky Diggins as well as they will be matched up tonight.
WNBA Best Bet #2: Jessica Shepard to record 30 or more PRA (-125)

Dallas Wings forward Jessica Shepard looks to make a pass in the offensive zone.
We got burned last time we took her, but she rebounded, so we're going back. Give me Jessica Shepard to get all those PRA's again. She is averaging 14.2 points, 11.4 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Complete breakout year in her first year with the Wings.
This play was automatic for a bit and then she cooled off. Shepard is coming off a hit last game after missing her two games prior. She has been fantastic this season and we have been riding with her for weeks now. I think after going cold those two games, she is going to get hot again.
Shepard had 27 PRA in the first game vs. the Liberty this season. She is an absolute beast down low, and I think will get her share of boards from Stewart and Jones. We do need a good shooting game from her for this to really come home.

WNBA Best Bet #3: Sabrina Ionescu to record 3 or more three pointers (+130)

New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu reacts after draining a big three-point shot.
The kid has been back the last two games after a rocky start to the season. Returning from injury, Sabrina Ionescu has only played in 9 games this season. She is averaging 10.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game on 35.6% shooting.
Her three-point shooting has been abysmal this year, shooting only 27.7% on this season. Despite that, she has come around her last two games. She has this line in her last two games, and I think she makes it three. Both games she shot double digit attempts, and I think we see the same volume.
This will be a good game and a battle of the guards. I think we see a lot of shooting from behind the three-point line tonight. Ionescu is going to lead the way and we just need three from a player who can easily get five.
