We have the Seattle Storm taking on the Washington Mystics in DC tonight. This will be the 2nd time this season these 2 teams meet. The Storm laid a beat down on the Mystics, winning by 32 points.

The Storm are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Fever, losing by 17 points. This team is 3rd in the Western Conference with a 17-10 record. Las Vegas has battled back and took over the 2nd seed last night.

Seattle is 6-4 in their last 10 games and are 6-7 on the road. They come into this game on a 2-game skid as well. This team has had a great year so far with their new talent, but now is the time to kick it into gear.

Nneka Ogwumike and Skylare Diggins-Smith have added so much offense to this team. Jewell Loyd and Ezi Magbegor found 2 other ladies to make a core with. The offseason grabs seem to being paying off.

This team really hurts without Elena Delle Donne. It's the team's 1st year without her after 7 seasons and they're still looking for someone to lead this team. She led the team to their only championship in 2019.

Ariel Atkins and Stefanie Dolson have led the team, both starting 25+ games. Atkins only averages 15.5 points per game and Dolson is averaging 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Otherwise, the offense is spread out around the team as they are still trying to find themselves.

The loss that the Storm just suffered was horrible. This is the perfect bounce back spot for them against a weak Mystics team. The 6.5 points is honestly low in my opinion, so try and get some CLV why you can.

This Seattle team is really good and just need a game to get back on track since the Olympic break. The Storm outranks the Mystics in just about every offensive category except 3-point shooting. On defense, Seattle has the 3rd best defensive rating in the league.

Expect them to move the ball around and get out to an early lead. We'll see a lot of shooting from Nneka and Jewell early. I'd also expect some 3's to be flying to try and get that early lead. A key though will be staying true to their defense and if they do that, the rest should fall into place.

One player I do like for a prop in on the Mystics. We're taking Shakira Austin for over 6.5 rebounds at -130. She has hit this number is her last 7 games vs the Storm. Hitting the number in her last 2 out of 4 games, she can get there. Austin had 10 in her first game back from break vs the Lynx.
