We're heading to the one of the two early games tonight. The Dallas Wings will head north of the border to take on the Toronto Tempo. These two teams just played less than a week ago and the Wings won the game by thirteen points.
Dallas is 14-8 this season and fourth in the Western Conference. They come into this game on a three-game winning streak after a big win over the New York Liberty on Tuesday. The Wings are 6-4 in their last ten games and are 8-5 on the road this year.

It's been a back and forth first half of the year for this team, but it's definitely a better season than last year. This is another good spot for them after beating the Tempo just a few days ago. Both teams' matchup well on offense, but Dallas played better defense.
They rank second best in the league for turnovers per game. The Wings also have the fifth best defensive rating in the league and are a better rebounding team than the Tempo. We should see another solid performance from Dallas, but Toronto won't make it easy.

Toronto tries to break three-game losing at home tonight

Tempo forward Isabelle Harrison goes up for a layup while defended by Wings guard Paige Bueckers.
The Tempo are 9-12 this year and are fifth in the Eastern Conference. They come into this game on a three-game losing streak after another loss on Wednesday to the Valkyries. Toronto is 3-7 in their last ten games and 5-6 at home this season.
They're hanging in there considering it's their first season. The team is led by veteran guards Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes. There are definitely high hopes for rookie guard Kiki Rice and forward Isabelle Harrison has settled in nicely.
Toronto shoots the ball well and can score it too. They rank fourth in the league for points per game and have the second best three-point shooting in the league. The Tempo don't rebound or move the ball around well, but some that is due to lack of chemistry.
On defense, they struggle a bit. Toronto ranks in the bottom of the league for defensive rating, and they tend to turn the ball over a lot. If they can improve on defense, this team could have a good future. Let's check out the odds and get into the Wings vs. Tempo picks.

It could be a repeat of a few days and I honestly think so. They're a solid road team this year and Toronto is struggling. These two are also fresh off playing each other and if the Wings can play their game again, then they got this.
Toronto has the better offense on paper, but Dallas has a more cohesive team. The Wings a much better defensive team and that's really the difference maker. They're hot right now and I don't think the Tempo have what it takes to cool them down.
Paige Bueckers had a big 22-point, 7 assist performance and I expect her to have another big game. Give me Paige for 20 or more points and if the line is 21, take it. Prior to last game, she cleared 21 or more points in the previous five games, with four of the games clearing 25 points.
