For the first time in 35 years the Spanish Grand Prix has a new home. In previous years it was held in Barcelona but this year we have a brand new track in Madrid that the grid will be racing on.

This decision to move tracks comes with a lot of controversy as Barcelona was looked at as one of the historic tracks on the Formula One calendar. That on top of the already standing rivalry the two cities have from their respective football clubs.

Nonetheless it is a new track and you bet every single driver on the grid wants to be known as the first ever winner at MADRING.

The track is also a super high speed one, with testing having driver reach up to 340 km/h or 210 MPH. But those long straight are dangerous as the breaking zones are tough to handle and we have already been seeing drivers complain and worry about the difficult layout.

So overall, to win here in Madrid you will need to be on your sharpest game possible. Have your tire strategy down, make sure you are breaking on time, and you must qualify well to have a shot at points.

In free practice one we saw both Mercedes drivers take advantage of the cars phenomenal straight line speed. Closely followed by the Ferrari cars who managed to make up times in the corners.

In free practice two it was Kimi Antonelli taking the spotlight as his team of mechanics looks to be dialing in the race strategy for Sunday. His teammate George Russell slipped behind a bit and only placed fifth. Both Ferrari's held their ground and came in behind Kimi in second and third.

Free practice three and qualifying will tell us a lot. I am expecting more dominance from Kimi and George to comeback and put up a good showing. Both Ferrari cars look very good and have a great shot at podiums if they qualify well.

Race Winner: Kimi Antonelli +150 on Lucky Rebel

Coming off an outstanding drive and win in Italy last week Kimi is once again looking sharp for this weekend's race. Over .100 of second faster than the next closest car that Mercedes car is showing off its speed.

With the form Kimi is in and the performance of that Mercedes the combination of those two will be hard to beat, even for his teammate who is in the same exact car.

We talked about it in our analysis of this track but the breaking is extremely difficult here. Max Verstappen said it is like breaking and turning at the same time and called it a "car killer"

That is only enhanced by the fact we have no run offs on this track either. On most Formula One tracks at the end of straights into a sharp turn their is a gravel run of for drivers to go in to and slow down if they mess up a turn, but nope not her in MADRING. Just a wall after going over 340KM/H.

Driver To Be Classified: Lance Stroll – No +120 on Lucky Rebel

I am just going to be straight up honest here, Lance Stroll is the worst driver I have ever seen driving in my entire life and how he is behind the wheel of a Formula One car is beyond me and just pure nepotism.

With that being said here is some data to support why I do not think Lance Stroll win finish this race and probably end up in a pit wall at some point.

Lance Stroll has finished 17th in Australia, suffered consecutive retirements in China and Japan, placed 17th in Miami and 15th in Canada, endured four straight retirements in Monaco, Spain, Austria, and Belgium after placing 19th Great Britain, achieved a season-high 13th in Hungary, and retired from the most recent races in the Netherlands and Italy.
