Today, I have three picks for the series finale between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Washington Nationals.

Sunday afternoon will feature the final game of this three-game set, with each team earning a win thus far.

The series has been surprisingly low scoring, as Friday night saw a 3-2 Arizona win, followed by a 5-3 Nationals win yesterday.

CJ Abrams led the charge in Game 2 for the Nats as he went 3-4 with a home run and three RBI. Both of these teams are in the thick of the National League Wild Card race as Arizona holds the final spot with Washington only two games behind. Will we finally see some offense today? Let's dive in.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Washington Nationals Predictions and Best Bets

Diamondbacks vs. Nationals Game Pick: Diamondbacks/Nationals Over 10 (-113 at Lucky Rebel)

In this matchup, we have two very capable offenses that have both been very quiet during this series. I am expecting that to change in the series finale today.

Rookie left hander Kohl Drake toes the rubber for the Diamondbacks, making just his second career Major League start. Earlier in the week, Drake went five innings against the Athletics, giving up one run on four hits. He faces a much more potent offense today in the Nationals. At home against left-handed pitchers, the Nats average 5.2 runs per nine innings. They are hitting .260 (7th in MLB) and have an OPS of .770 (also 7th) and a wRC+ of 112 (also 7th).

Washington will counter with gas can Miles Mikolas. In 10 home appearance, Miles has a 5.92 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. Despite the Diamondbacks not being particularly good against righties on the road, when Mikolas starts, all bets are off. Hitting conditions look great today as it will be 88 degrees with the wind blowing out slightly. Both of these offenses should put on a show in this contest.

Diamondbacks vs. Nationals Player Prop: Corbin Carroll Over 2.5 Hits + Runs+ RBIs +115 Lucky Rebel

Carroll has had a quiet season this far as he is only hitting .250 with 15 homers and 49 RBI. Despite that, he matches up well with Mikolas. Carroll has a barrel rate of 12.4, which is in the 81st percentile among major league hitters.

He is red hot at the plate right now and he has cleared two total bases in six straight games, totaling 32 bases in that stretch. Abrams also has a barrel rate of 11.0, which is in the 71st percentile among major league hitters.

Despite the left-on-left matchup, I like Abrams to continue to rake this afternoon.
