Colorado is at the bottom of the NL West. They are 26-44 overall, 12-24 on the road, and are 18 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers for first place. The season is basically over for Colorado.

Only 8.5 games separate this entire division, one that will be very entertaining to watch the rest of the season. The Athletics have now won three straight games, and they are looking to make it four in a row tonight.

I will continue to back this red hot Athletics team, even if Joey Estes is making his first start of the season. Even if he has a rough outing, I love fading this pitcher for Colorado.
Lefty Kyle Freeland is on the mound. His already terrible 7.81 ERA jumps to 8.07 on the road this year, where he is 0-4. Freeland has allowed at least three earned runs in eight straight starts. Yes, that is an accurate stat. He does not have a win since April 7. Plus he faces this Athletics team that has been great at the plate and excels against lefties.
The Athletics hit .247 as a team this season. That average jumps to .252 against left handed pitchers and all the way up to .265 when playing at home in Las Vegas. They should have no problem covering this run line against the Rockies.
