We are coming off another winner yesterday with the Minnesota Twins hitting their Team Total Over 4.5. Ryan Jeffers did not start so that bet was void. YTD we sit at 13-5 +9.68 Units. Today bring the final day before the All-Star Break, which could be a tough one from a betting perspective with players either ready for a few days off or traveling to Philly afterwards for the All-Star festivities. With that said, there is a game that is very intriguing to me, let's take a look at my Colorado Rockies vs San Francisco Giants Picks and Analysis

Colorado Rockies vs San Francisco Giants Picks and Preview

The Rockies meet the Giants in the finale of their 4 game set today, at Oracle Park in San Francisco. The Giants have won 2 of the first 3 games of the series and are coming off a 4-2 win yesterday afternoon. Left Fielder Casey Schmitt hit the go ahead 3 run bomb in the 6th inning to secure the win. The first half has been a forgettable one for both squads, as these are the bottom 2 teams in the National League West. What will Sunday's game bring? Let's take a look….

Colorado Rockies vs San Francisco Giants Game Predictions and Best Bets

Game Picks: Colorado Rockies vs San Francisco Giants Over 8.5 -118 BetOnline.ag Sportsbook

Despite Wind Direction, Oracle Park is widely considered to be a pitchers park. With that being said, if I am going to bet an over at that venue, I prefer to do it during a matinee game, which is what we have here today. This pitching matchup also warrants an Over, lets take a look.

We'll start with Rockies starter Michael Lorenzen. The right hander owns a road ERA of 5.36, a WHIP of 1.57 and a batting average against of .308. He has struggled to keep runners off base all season. Opposite of his is Giants starter Trevor McDonald. The right hander has really struggled at home this season where he sports a 7.94 ERA, a WHIP of 1.52 and a batting average against of .299. Behind both of these starters are bullpens that are in the bottom part of the league in ERA. The Rockies own a pen ERA of 4.93 (25th in MLB) and the Giants own a pen ERA of 4.50 (23rd in MLB).

On the road the Rockies average 4.5 runs per nine innings vs right handed pitching and the Giants average 4 runs per 9 innings vs right handed pitching at home. Niether offense will light the world on fire but both have some appealing hitters (which we will get into below). All we need is a 4-4 game to hit this bet, which I don't think is a lot to ask for here.

Player Prop: Casey Schmitt Over 1.5 Total Bases +120 BetOnline.ag Sportsbook

The San Francisco Left Fielder is having a breakout season as he is hitting .280 with 19 Home Runs and 50 Run Batted In, all 3 already being career highs. At home he is a solid .282 with with 9 Home runs and 24 RBIs. He has hit this mark in all 3 games of this series, totaling 12 bases, and has hit this in 9 straight head to head meetings, totaling 28 bases. Schmitt is hitting .261 vs right handed pitching, with a ISO of .233. Lorenzen surrenders a batting average of .301 against right handed bats, allowing 14 extra base hits.

Player Prop: Mickey Moniak Over 1.5 Total Bases +125 BetOnline.ag Sportsbook

The Colorado Left Fielder is following up an impressive 2025 campaign with a solid 1st half og 2025. Moniak is hitting .282 with 15 Home and and 38 Runs Batting In. Similar to may Colorado hitters, his numbers take a bit of a dive on the road where he is only hitting .241 with 3 dingers. Despite that I still like this spot for him today. Moniak has ISOs of .227 and .250 against Sinkers and Sliders, which are Trevor McDonalds top 2 pitches.

Lastly, both if these hitters own Barrel Rates of 12.6, which is in the 80th percentile among MLB hitters. I'll back both of them to do damage today, in what should be an entertaining battle.
