Philadelphia Phillies vs. Toronto Blue Jays MLB Picks

Kyle Schwarber and the Phillies take on the Toronto Blue Jays tonight. Can the offense stay hot?
Phillies vs. Blue Jays Pitching Matchup
- Philadelphia Phillies: LHP Cristopher Sanchez (7-2, 1.46 ERA, 1.09 WHIP)
- Toronto Blue Jays: LHP Patrick Corbin (2-2, 3.98 ERA, 1.38 WHIP)
Best Bet: Phillies -1.5 (-103) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Shop around for a plus sign as the Phillies take on the Blue Jays north of the border tonight. Both teams are tossing out lefties, but one is much better than the other. Cristopher Sanchez is in "no fade" mode. The dude is a flame thrower.
He leads the MLB with a 1.46 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP and he went the entire month of May (39 innings pitched over five starts) without allowing a single run. Finally on Wednesday he gave up one on four hits and one walk to the Padres, but he struck out eight batters and got the win. He has not lost a game since April 18, and the Phillies are 6-1 in his last seven outings, covering the run line in four of those wins. The lone loss was a 1-0 shutout against the Guardians, where Sanchez threw eight scoreless. Philadelphia does hit worse on the road and against lefties, but I think they will be covered on the mound.
Patrick Corbin starts for the Blue Jays, where his splits are worse at home. He posts a 4.74 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP at the Rogers Centre. He just allowed four runs to the Braves, and I see the Phillies being able to rock his world tonight after scoring 5.33 runs per game over their last six outings.
Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels MLB Picks

Spencer Arrighetti was rock solid during the month of May. Will he keep it up tonight?
Astros vs. Angels Pitching Matchup
- Houston Astros: RHP Spencer Arrighetti (7-1, 1.94 ERA, 1.18 WHIP)
- Los Angeles Angels: RHP Grayson Rodriguez (2-2, 9.50 ERA, 1.89 WHIP)
Best Bet: Astros ML (-130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I don't hate the run line in this spot either, which can be found around +125. Arrighetti has been on fire this season, but he did allow four runs to the Pirates in just four innings in his last start. But the man had a 0.93 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP last month. He's a little walk happy, but the Angels are bottom 10 in walk rate against RHP. The Astros batting average also improves from .246 to .261 on the road this season, and I love their matchup.
Grayson Rodriguez has only made four starts this year, but they have not gone well. Ironically, his best outing was on the road. He's allowed seven earned runs twice this year including, to the Rockies in his last outing in just 3.2 innings. His 9.50 ERA is 12.46 in three home starts, while his 1.89 WHIP balloons up to 2.31 at home. Earlier in the season, the Astros scored 20 total runs in two games against the Angels to win the last two of that series.
Even on the road I trust them to get the win tonight, as they should give Arrighetti plenty of run support.
