We've set quite the bar from our last NBA props article, in which we finished 4-0 on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, I have just two plays tonight, but the good news is I believe we have a strong edge on each.

So, let's dive into my NBA playoff prop bets for Thursday, May 7.

NBA Playoff Prop Bets for Thursday, May 7

Take a deep dive into into tonight's NBA slate, with our expert's favorite NBA Prop bets for Wednesday, November 5.

Cade Cunningham Under 10.5 Assists (-139)

Much like I keep going back to the well on Victor Wembanyama under 2.5 three-pointers made, I'm going to do the same with Cade Cunningham and his assists prop.

For Game 1, I gave out Cunningham under 9.5 assists at -110, and he finished with seven assists. Despite that, his assists prop is now being offered around 10.5. Granted, there is some additional juice attached at that number, but I still believe it's worth playing.

To be honest, if laying -139 is too rich for your blood, I'd still recommend betting him under 9.5 assists at +110. That's also being offered throughout the market, and I still view it as a solid wager.

Several things are evident: Cade is going to be a scorer first and foremost, he has limited reliable scorers alongside him in this tougher postseason setting to help boost his assist numbers, the Cavaliers possess a respectable defense and this prop is simply too high.

Let's take advantage of another inflated prop.

LeBron James Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (+100)

LeBron James

In the second NBA playoff game of the evening, I'm taking a stab at LeBron James eclipsing 28.5 combined points and rebounds.

This market has already shifted slightly from 27.5, but I still see value at the 28.5 mark.

In Game 1 of this Western Conference semifinal between the Lakers and Thunder, James scored 27 points and collected four rebounds.

I envision his scoring output staying roughly in the same range, while we should see a slight uptick in his rebounding production.

It seems crazy to say and expect this out of a 41-year-old, but this is LeBron James we're talking about. He continues to defy everything we know about aging and physical ability at a professional level, and he'll need to be the best version of himself in order to keep the Lakers in contention. If that happens, he should clear 28.5 points and rebounds.
