Big Ten Basketball is in full swing and we've got a great conference matchup tonight in Ann Arbor. Dusty May's squad finally suffered their first loss of the season, and despite bouncing back with a couple wins, they have failed to cover four straight spreads. The No. 3 ranked Michigan Wolverines find themselves as 15.5 point favorites at home against the Indiana Hoosiers. Can they pull off this double digit upset? Or at least keep this game competitive? Let's find out with our favorite picks.

Indiana Hoosiers vs. #3 Michigan Wolverines NCAA Basketball Insights

Tucker DeVries and Indiana bring their three game losing streak into Ann Arbor tonight
Like I said, Michigan is kind of coming back down to Earth. They started off the year with 14 straight wins, finally losing to Wisconsin at home. During that winning streak, the Wolverines were 9-5 against the spread, but now sit at 9-8. Could this be the perfect spot for them to show the country they are still just as dominating as the team we saw earlier in the year?
As for the Hoosiers, they are 12-6 overall but just 8-10 against the spread, also failing to cover in three straight games. They've lost all three of those contests as well, which should have Darian DeVries looking to make some adjustments. Things are not going to get easier for the Hoosiers playing in the Big Ten. Indiana has been an underdog three times this season, failing to cover each spread, and this is by far the biggest dog they've been all year. Do they have it in them to take down the Michigan Wolverines?

Last night, the Indiana Hoosiers football team won the CFP National Championship, capping off a 16-0 season. Now the basketball team wasn't in Bloomington to celebrate with the rest of their fellow students, but you've got to think the team was up later than they should've been watching that game, because Indiana is now a football school.
As for the Wolverines, the football program is going through some stuff at the moment, so their full attention should be on cutting down the nets in March.

I think they come very focused into this matchup. The Wolverines are third in the country in scoring, putting up 93.1 points per game, but they lead the country at home, almost putting up triple digits (99.4). The Hoosiers give up seven more points on the road than they do at home, and they'll have their work cut out for them.
Michigan is the second fastest team in the country on their home floor, ranking top five in offensive efficiency and top 15 in eFG%. They take great care of the ball, crash the offensive glass, and lead the nation in 2P%, shooting over 67% from inside the arc. Defensively, they don't give up offensive rebounds, which translates to quick fast breaks going the other way on missed shots. The Hoosiers are also No. 296 in grabbing offensive boards away from home.
Indiana's defense takes a major hit on the road. They rank bottom 15 in FT Rate defense, and balloon from No. 31 to No. 155 in opponent 2P%. It's also worth noting, the Wolverines lost the last time they played in Ann Arbor. Dusty May and his team will show no mercy as they go out and get a dominating win for their fans.
