Richmond vs Fordham Prediction:

Hump day hoops in the Bronx, as the Fordham Rams host the red-hot Richmond spiders. This Atlantic 10 matchup features one team that has not won a home game since December 30th while the other has been on a 10-game winning streak. During that span, Richmond's most notable wins came against St. Bonaventure, Duquesne, and most recently upsetting at the time #16 Dayton on Saturday. In the battle of the streaks, who's will stay alive?

The Stank:

If you clicked the tweet/post above, you might already know where I will be going here. However, if you are new to my madness, I am glad you made it here. Hello, my name is Colby Marchio and I fade storms. Also, I am not a fan of spiders. Yuck. 

Against top 100 schools this season, the Rams have played some impressive basketball. Small sample size, but they have played exceptionally well on the defensive end in those four games. They are ranked inside the top 40 in most categories, according to Bart Torvik. 

On the offensive side, Fordham has been lacking. As a team that relies on the deep ball, they are not good at shooting them. At home this season, Fordham is 257th in 3-point percentage. 

Luckily, the Rams like to run, so they will get their scoring opportunities. Especially if they are winning the rebounding battle, which they should. Richmond is 3rd worst in offensive rebound percentage on the road. On the defensive end, they are better at rebounding, but Fordham is top 70 in offensive rebounding this season. 

They are coming off one of their biggest games of the season and pulling off the upset to have to travel to New York a couple of days later. This will be the perfect spot to fade Richmond. I expect the Spiders to come out flat and underperform against the Rams. 

Fade the storm. Fade the Richmond Spiders.

Prediction: Fordham Wins

Concerns: Fordham does not knock down their threes, being pretty reliant on the deep ball can come back to bite you. However, I like the Rams in this one.
