NFL Fantasy Football 2026 Top 3 Value Picks: Wide Receviers

I know, I know. I'm the hockey guy at Betting News. I go by Gretzky Betzky, I host PUCK IT and I eat, breathe, and sleep puck. But I'm also an AVID fantasy football nerd who is in two dynasty leagues, partaking in 5+ leagues annually and been addicted to being a fake GM for over 15 years now.

In fact, I won the Betting News staff fantasy league twos seasons ago and came in second place last season. From draft day on, I will watch players' ADP like they are stock tickers, hunting down value. And while the NHL is snoozing, I'll be contributing my NFL expertise in the fantasy football realm.

This will become an ongoing series where I highlight players who REEK of value in fantasy drafts. We aren't talking about grabbing Ja'Marr Chase with the first overall pick, but instead we are going to be finding gems and value. Each article will feature a position within a range of draft rounds (we will always skip the first round). We will assume that these picks are for 12-team leagues with .5 PPR and will not be discussing in terms of Superflex. On top of that, I'll highlight a futures bet that corresponds with each player, all of whose odds can be found on BetOnline.

Before we dive in, let me make my philosophy crystal clear heading into 2026 drafts. Wide receiver is the single most important position to nail in standard fantasy leagues right now — and I cannot stress this enough. In a world where quality running backs can be found on the waiver wire every week, and serviceable quarterbacks can be grabbed in the middle and late rounds, wide receiver is where championships are won and lost in the draft room. Without two legitimate WR1/WR2 caliber options — even if one of them is nabbed late — you will spend all season scrambling. The good news? Depth starts in round two. Let's find that value.

So without further ado, let's kick it off with NFL fantasy football 2025 top three value picks: the wide receivers. It's mock draft season baby!!!

1. Wide Receiver Fantasy Value Round 2: CeeDee Lamb

Admittedly, there are some monster names flying off the board in round one at the receiver position in 2026. Ja'Marr Chase, Puka Nacua, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are all being taken in the first round, which means the run on receivers is happening early and happening fast. But here's the thing — it also means CeeDee Lamb is increasingly available in round two. And at that price, I am sprinting to the podium.

Let's be real for a second. CeeDee Lamb put up a 23.7 PPG campaign in 2023 — one of the great single-season receiver performances in fantasy history. He followed it up with 17.6 PPG in 2024. Last season was a step back, finishing at 14.3 PPG, but the context matters enormously. George Pickens arrived in Dallas via trade, immediately siphoning targets from Lamb as a legitimate co-alpha in the same offense, and the result was a volume dip that hit Lamb harder than most expected. Here's what I'm buying: Dak Prescott threw 4,552 passing yards last season with both healthy. That's a massive pie. Dallas doesn't have many other options — Jake Ferguson had 600 yards as the third leading receiver as a tight end. There's more than enough volume to go around, and there's a real shot that Lamb gets back to a 17 PPG range while Pickens also produces. Lamb's route running and separation skills remain elite. Positive touchdown regression alone could push him back into top-five WR territory. The market has overcorrected. Lamb's current ADP sits at WR5 on FantasyPros — a receiver who was arguably the best fantasy player in football two seasons ago, available in the middle of round two. That's the kind of recency bias-fueled value I live for in fantasy drafts. I'm pushing my chips all in on CeeDee in round two, and I'll be doing it in every single league I enter this summer. CeeDee Lamb over 1,200.5 receiving yards for -110 on BetOnline:

He hit 1,749 yards in 2023 and 1,194 in 2024 with a fully healthy season. Even in his down year last season, the target volume with Prescott's arm was there. With positive TD regression coming and a full campaign as co-alpha in a pass-heavy offense, getting back to 1,200 yards is very much on the table. At -110, this feels like building your bankroll on a player who is being dramatically undervalued at his current price.

2. Wide Receiver Fantasy Value Round 3: Justin Jefferson

BUY THE DIP. Everything that could go wrong for Justin Jefferson in 2025 went wrong. A rookie quarterback in JJ McCarthy who struggled with efficiency all season. A Vikings passing attack that generated just one 300+ yard passing game and four 250+ yard games all year. Career-low marks across the board in touchdowns (just two), yards per catch, and efficiency metrics. 84 receptions, 1,048 receiving yards, two touchdowns — all career lows for Jefferson, who was still the team's unquestioned alpha receiver. Now let's throw all of that in the garbage and talk about what's coming. The Vikings brought in Kyler Murray to compete with McCarthy under center, and Murray is a candidate to finish as a top-12 QB with QB1 upside. Jefferson's target share never wavered — he was still getting 25.2% of Minnesota's targets last season, leading the team in receiving. The problem wasn't Jefferson. The problem was the quarterback. McCarthy often operated on a rushed clock, logging a sub-2.5-second time-to-throw on 32.3% of dropbacks, which killed Jefferson's ability to get downfield. Draft SharksSports Illustrated

And here's the thing — Jefferson's current ADP sits at 2.01, going at the first pick of the second round. That's the absolute top of the third round in most mock drafts. A player who has had six straight 1,000-yard seasons, who just had his worst statistical year due entirely to quarterback play, who is 27 years old and entering prime production years, is available in round three because of recency bias. Last season's results can be treated as a floor outcome. A return to the fantasy football WR1 tier is reasonable. His ceiling outcome includes a top-five finish. I'm not scared of the Kyler Murray question — Jefferson makes any quarterback better. Get him in round three and don't look back. Draft Sharks

Justin Jefferson over 1,200 receiving yards for +110 on BetOnline:

Jefferson has hit 1,200+ receiving yards in three of his six NFL seasons, including a 1,809-yard explosion in 2022 and a 1,533-yard season in 2024. Even his down year last season produced 1,048 yards with historically bad quarterback play. Plug in a more capable signal-caller and this line is more than reachable. At plus money, this is exactly the type of futures bet you want attached to a bounce-back candidate of Jefferson's caliber.

3. Wide Receiver Fantasy Value Round 4: Malik Nabers

Round four is where I'm getting aggressive on upside, and there is no higher ceiling available at this point in the draft than Malik Nabers — if you're willing to accept the injury risk attached to his current ADP. And I am absolutely willing.

Here's the backstory: Nabers is coming off a season-ending ACL tear and lateral meniscus repair in Week 4 of 2025. He then underwent a secondary procedure to remove scar tissue restricting his knee extension. Reports surfaced in July that he could miss the first four to five games of the 2026 season, which spooked fantasy managers and sent his price tumbling. But here's the latest: as of late July, Nabers avoided the PUP list to open training camp, and the Giants are cautiously optimistic about a Week 1 return. Sports Illustrated

Let's not forget what this player is when healthy. As a rookie in 2024, Nabers caught 109 of 170 targets for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games — setting a Giants franchise single-season reception record in his debut. He is a generational talent at the position. Now entering his third season under new head coach John Harbaugh and playing alongside a more established Jaxson Dart, when healthy, Nabers has league-winning potential and has scored at least 14.5 half-PPR points in four of his past seven healthy games.

If he slips into round four or round five, Nabers becomes much easier to stomach as a WR2. That's your target window. Draft him as your WR2 or a flex option, knowing the first month might be bumpy, and then watch him become one of the most explosive receivers in fantasy football for the second half of the season. If you grabbed two of the players mentioned above in rounds two and three, you have the cushion to absorb a slow Nabers start while waiting on a truly special talent to heat up. Or if you decided to go RB heavy in the first three rounds, than Nabers could be your top WR, waiting around in the 4th round.
