We have a treat this evening and yes people – it's a game seven! The Tampa Bay Lighting were able to steal game six at the Bell Centre to force game seven. This series has been absolute cinema, so I expect we're instore for a hell of a finale.
It was nothing but a chess match in game six as we saw no regulation goals. Both goalies saw just under 30 shots on goal each before overtime started. Montreal out hit Tampa 49-38, but the game was pretty even from face offs won to both teams going 0-3 on the power play.
Tampa goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy got the win and shutout. Vasi looked great all game, stopping everything that came his way. His is most likely this year's Vezina Trophy winner for best goalie in the league, so it's absolutely expected.
On the other side, Canadiens goalie Jakub Dobes played a fantastic game as well. He stopped all but the one goal that got passed him in overtime. This is Dobes first taste of the playoffs and he's showing he belongs here.

We had to go look for some value for this game and I think we found it. This should be much of the same from game six where each team won't want to make the first mistake. Both goalies have been outstanding, and I think we see another one to three goal game.
To give a lean, I unfortunately think the Lightning take this one. Having Vasi in net at home is really the X factor here. He's been here before and knows what it takes to win in the playoffs. I'd love to see the Canadiens win this, but that have to get multiple goals past him.
Game six was the Canadiens chance to put this series away. Tampa's going to come out firing, which is why I like Darren Raddysh for 4 or more shots on goal. The defenseman has been absolutely unloading this series, having 6 shots on goal in each of his last two games.
I also like Cole Caufield to get his 4 or more shots on goal. Caufield has been quiet all series, but it's time for him to step it up. The Canadiens needs him to get it going to fire this offense up and especially find the back of the net.
