After a great round one, we have the round two matchup out of the Pacific Division. The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Vegas Golden Knights. Both teams won their first-round matchups by a 4-2 games final. The Ducks swept the season series 3-0 which is impressive.
Vegas was 39-26-17 this season and finished first in the Pacific Division. If it wasn't for all their overtime losses, the Knights could've been head and shoulders above their division. They come into this series after a first round win over the Utah Mammoth. It was a solid series, but the Knights were the clear favorites and got the job done.
They won the first game of the series but then dropped the next two games. They had to steal game four in Utah and successfully did in an overtime win. In another overtime win at home in game five, the Knights ended the series in Utah.
Goalie Carter Hart has been the playoff starter. He did allow over three goals per game last series, so he'll need to improve that vs. this young Anaheim team. Hart had a really solid game in game six that he'll look to build off of.

Anaheim knocks out two-time conference champs to advance

Knights defenseman Shea Theodore goes to pass the puck with Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier trailing behind.
The Ducks were 43-33-6 this season and finished third in the Pacific Division. They come into this series after a big 4-2 series win over the Oilers. Knocking off the two-time defending Conference champs is a big deal.
Anaheim played great last series. They fired the puck all series and found the back of the net plenty. Cutter Gauthier and Leo Carlsson went absolutely insane all series long and continue to carry this offense.
Their defense needs to step it up. It was a high scoring series because the Oilers defense isn't the greatest, but that's not the case this round. The Ducks really need to clamp down and protect Dostal to have a chance.
In net, we're going to see Lukas Dostal. He started every game of round one and saw shot counts as high as 37 in regulation. Let's check out the odds and get into the Ducks vs. Knights Game 1 picks.

This is going to be a great series and although the Knights are good defensively, I think we see a few barn burners. And I think we see one to get this thing started so we're rooting for goals. Give me the over 6.5 goals for plus money in tonight's game.
Anaheim is just loaded with offense. Utah is not the same caliber team as the Ducks, and I think they come out screaming in Game 1. The Ducks also played very well against the Knights this season and scored plenty. With that being said, I also don't think the Knights have a hard time getting to Dostal, especially given the Ducks lack of defense.
For a prop, I like for Carter Hart to get over his saves line. The Ducks are going to be firing away, and I expect them to pepper. The line should be around 27 saves, and they should put up over 30 shots on goal. I could also see the same for Dostal if you like that better,
