It's been a decent second round series we have here. The Carolina Hurricanes head to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers for Game 3. The Canes have a 2-0 series lead after taking care of business at home.
From the first round to now, the Hurricanes have looked fantastic. They're still yet to lose a game sitting at a perfect 6-0. Game 2 went to overtime, but Carolina forward Taylor Hall buried a shot to win the game.
Philly had a 2-0 lead early in the first period after two back-to-back goals only 40 seconds apart. It was also only four minutes into the game when they scored the first goal. Jaime Drysdale and Sean Couturier got those opening goals. It didn't take long before Nikolaj Ehlers to get one back for the Canes before the end of the first.
A little over halfway through the second period, Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis tied the game at 2-2. During overtime, Carolina fired 15 shots on goal. With just over a minute left, forward Taylor Hall scored the game winning goal.
Hurricanes goalie Frederik Andersen got his sixth win of the playoffs. He allowed 2 goals, saving 34 of the 36 shots he faced. Flyers goalie Dan Vladar had a solid game, saving 39 of the 42 shots he faced. Both are expected to be the starters for this game.

Philly needs to win their home games to have a chance to win the series

Flyers forward Tyson Foerster takes the puck along the boards with Hurricanes defenseman K'Andre Miller on him.
It's been a rough start for the Flyers because they are completely out matched. The Canes have a better offense and defense. Don't get me wrong, the Flyers offense can cook, but the Canes defense can shut it down and leave them with nothing.
They were able to get two goals last game, which is a good sign, but Andersen has been a wall. He hasn't let up more than two goals in a game all playoffs and the Flyers need to change that.
There have been a lot of penalties committed, and both teams have been terrible on the power play. If Philly can improve here, it's a step up they'll have over Carolina. As we all know, this is a must win game for the Flyers because going down 3-0 is basically a death sentence.

Call me crazy, but I think we see goals. We should see a different Flyers team at home. They should come out fast, trying to get the lead early like last game. But something tells me this is the game they get to Andersen and the game goes over.
Philly can score but Andersen's been hot. It's crazy goalie Brandon Bussi hasn't even played after the season he had, but you don't take out a hot goalie. All good things must come to an end and the Flyers get to him for the total to go over.
I like Vladar to get over his saves line. It's probably going to come out around 25 saves because he had 24 in regulation last game. The Hurricanes are going to fire the puck again because they're hungry for another sweep.
Also give me Logan Stankoven who has been great. His 3 and 4 or more shots on goal are to be played. He has had 4 or more shots on goal in five of his last six games and the game he missed, he had 3 shots on goal.
