We had a little bit of a beat down in game three. The Vegas Golden Knights took the game by a final score of 6-2 over the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center. Luckily for the Ducks, they stole a game in Vegas and need to tonight's badly.
It was all Vegas last game. They came out right away and scored a goal one minute into the game from Shea Theodore. From there, they never looked back. Vegas totaled three goals in the first to take a commanding lead.
When the second period came, it was more the same. Knights forward Mitch Marner scored the last goal in the first period and then scored the next two goals in the second period to get the hat trick. We all know Leafs fans across Canada are shaking their heads.
In the third period, the Ducks finally got on the board, but it was too late. They got a goal from Beckett Sennecke six and half minutes into the period. Only one other goal came for the Ducks, this time from forward Chris Kreider. An empty netter from Brett Howden sealed the game.
Anaheim goalie Luks Dostal didn't last long in game three. He was pulled after allowing three goals on only eight shots. He has been confirmed for tonight's game, and the Ducks will be relying on a bounce back from him.

Anaheim needs to find a way to bounce back and tie this series up

Ducks forwards Leo Carlsson and Troy Terry celebrate after scoring a goal vs. the Knights.
This is a must win game for the Ducks. They've played well at home this season and need to protect home ice. They cannot go back to Vegas down 3-1 in the series or this series is over.
For a good portion of the season, Anaheim led the division over Vegas. They won the season series vs. the Knights 3-0, so we know they can beat them. Dostal has to play better for them to even have a chance in game four. His last game needs to be an anomaly.
The Ducks offense also went ghost last game. These young guys need to get that figured out and pour it on this game. It took overtime twice this season to get the win vs. Vegas, so they have to do what it takes. If they can recreate the defense from game two, they will help Dostal as well.

I think we see the Ducks get it together here and win this game. Like I said, this is a must win game for them and being at home helps. I think we see a bounce back from Lukas Dostal and the Ducks pour the offense on to get the win.
Shutting down the Vegas offense early is going to be key. If they can smother them and get on the board first – that'll be huge for them towards a win. They can't play from behind this game as they haven't been able to make comebacks so far.
Give me Leo Carlsson to get 4 or more shots on goal. He just missed last game and has been a killer all playoffs. I think he gets back to firing the puck on net and most likely finds the back of the net so sprinkle that.
