We have a small slate today, but you know we have you covered. The Pittsburgh Penguins will face the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena. These two teams first met earlier this year and the Penguins won 5-1.
Vancouver is 17-29-5 this season and last in the Pacific Division. They come into this game off a loss to the Devils on Friday. The Canucks are 1-9-0 in their last ten games and just 5-15-3 at home this year.
It's been a struggle on both ends of the ice. Between last year and this year, they team traded away their two best players in JT Miller and Quinn Hughes. Their offense ranks in the bottom of the league for goals scored and shots on goal allowed per game.
The Canucks special teams are terrible, ranking twentieth in power play conversion and last in penalty kill. They're also last in the league for goals allowed and fourth to last in shots on goal allowed per game. It's a rough time to be a Vancouver fan right now.
Goalie Kevin Lankinen is expected to get the start. He is 7-15-4 this season with a 3.33 GAA and a .884 save percentage. As much a Lankinen has been bad, the defense hasn't given him much support either.

Pittsburgh looks to keep it rolling tonight in Canada

Penguins forward Blake Lizotte takes the puck past Canucks forward Connor Garland.
The Penguins are 25-14-11 this year and second in the Metro Division. They come into this game on a three-game winning streak after another win over the Oilers on Thursday. Pittsburgh is 6-2-2- in his last ten games and 14-7-4 on the road.
We have a hot team coming on in. Their offense has been buzzing this year and ranks in the top of the league. Ranking in just about the top ten for goals scored and shots on goal per game, the Pens also have the fourth best power play.
Their defense has been really good so far as well. They're ranking ninth in goals allowed and thirteenth in shots on goal allowed per game. Like their power play, Pittsburgh has the sixth best penalty in the league while committing under four penalties per game.
In net, we're expected to see Stuart Skinner. He is 17-12-4 this season with a 2.58 GAA and a .894 save percentage. Let's check out the odds and get into the Penguins vs. Canucks picks.

I'm going with the boys who are buzzing to come in and make it four in a row. They're playing such good hockey that I think this is a layup for them and they cruise with ease. You can pay the juice man and take the moneyline as well if you want.
We should see a one-sided game here. Pittsburgh should really have their way in this game and take it home. Their comfortable on the road this season and this shouldn't be any different. I like for them to win this by multiple goals like their last meeting.
I like for both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin for both to record a point each. This will get nice -104 value for something that can happen in one play. This is especially a solid play with how good their power play is this season.
Another play I like for Kevin Lankinen for over his saves line. The Canucks allow so many shots, and I think the Pens will put up over 30 shots. The line should drop in the twenties so as long as they put up over 30 shots, this should clear with ease.
