Wednesday's soccer slate is full of a bunch of leagues that I'm not going to bet on. Best of luck to you if you're wagering on UEFA Women's Champions League and Europa Cup, the WSL Players Cup or the Concacaf Nations League. And I do mean that sincerely, it's just not my cup of tea. I'll stick to what I know and focus in on tonight's solo MLS match between two Western Conference teams that are looking up at the rest of the table. It's been a rough season for the Seattle Sounders and Real Salt Lake, but maybe our expert soccer picks could make some money off these two clubs tonight.
The last time we bet the MLS, we pushed three times on draw no bet lines in early September. Let's get back after it tonight.

Like I said, there are plenty of other leagues competing on the pitch tonight, but it's just this match for me.
Seattle Sounders vs. Real Salt Lake Matchup Information
Sergei Solans has been electric in his rookie season for Real Salt Lake, leading the team with nine goals and adding three assists as well

While both of these clubs are not performing up to standard, the Western Conference is wild open, at least for the final two playoff spots. With about seven or eight matches left in the season (the Sounders have nine plus tonight's contest), we have seven teams separated by just four points, battling for the eighth and ninth seeds in the West.
It will certainly be a wild finish, as the Colorado Rapids are sitting in seventh on the table, just three points ahead of the LA Galaxy in eighth. Nobody is safe, everyone is vying for points.
Expert MLS Picks – Seattle Sounders vs. Real Salt Lake
Albert Rusnak and the Sounders desperately need a positive result, preferably three points at home
Best Bet: Seattle Sounders ML (-121) BetOnline
Both of these teams are horrible this year. I said it on my show, The Morning Spread, earlier today on the Betting News Network. The Sounders have not won an MLS contest since May 13; Real Salt Lake hasn't earned three MLS points since May 16. Both have gone over four months without the taste of a league victory. Something has to give tonight, and I'll side with the home favorite to turn the tide around.
Usually I like to bet Seattle at home with an inflated under for plus money. You can get the Sounders to win and under 4.5 for +125 or so if you choose. Since I am easing back into the MLS, I'll just back them to win. Neither have done so in a while, and Real Salt Lake even beat the Sounders 2-1 at home in February, their second match of the year. Can you say "Revenge Spot at Home"?
But the kicker for me.. Real Salt Lake is just 1-2-8 on the road this year. Not only that, but over the course of the year, they score 1.48 goals per match, and concede 1.68. Away from home, they allow 1.81 and score just 1.00, only scoring multiple goals once on the road in 11 matches. Give me the hosts to finally find a win tonight, preferably in a low scoring match.
Prediction: Sounders Win 2-0 (+900)
