Leagues Cup continues today with five more matches on the slate!

We've already seen plenty of entertaining football, and we're only getting started. One trend that has really stood out so far is the impact of home-field advantage.

Through 18 matches, only three road teams have managed to get a result.

Let's see if that trend continues today.

FC Cincinnati vs. Pumas 1H Over 1.5 Goals

I mean, we have to go right back to the well here.

Since returning from the World Cup break, Cincinnati's four matches have finished with seven, three, six, and four total goals.

The first-half over has also cashed in all four matches.

Nothing about the way Cincinnati are playing suggests these games are going to slow down anytime soon.

At home, they're averaging more than three goals scored per match in MLS. They're also allowing more than two goals per game.

Overall, Cincinnati's home matches are averaging more than five total goals.

It's a wild combination.

They have one of the league's most dangerous attacks while continuing to struggle defensively. Then you add Evander, who has arguably been the best player in MLS this season.

The result has been goals, and a lot of them.

Pumas have a similar profile coming into this matchup.

Through three Liga MX matches, they're averaging more than two goals scored and nearly two goals conceded per game.

They failed to score against a rotated Charlotte side in their Leagues Cup opener. However, they still conceded seven big chances and allowed three goals.

Now they have to deal with one of the hottest attacks in MLS.

Pumas also can't afford to open Leagues Cup with consecutive losses. I expect them to be aggressive and test this Cincinnati back line early.

The first goal should completely open this match up.

Considering Cincinnati's recent form, I don't think we'll be waiting very long for it.

Brian White Anytime Goalscorer

Vancouver will need their top guy to get back into form tonight.

We're heading to Vancouver for the second play of the night.

I'm expecting a major bounce-back performance from the Whitecaps, and this matchup sets up perfectly for it.

Juárez haven't impressed me to start the Liga MX season.

They won their opening Leagues Cup match, but I'm not expecting the same result tonight. They've yet to win in three league matches and have scored only once.

Defensively, things haven't been much better.

Juárez are conceding more than two goals per match in Liga MX play.

Vancouver, meanwhile, heavily rotated their squad in their opening Leagues Cup loss. I expect a much stronger starting XI tonight.

After dropping their first match, the Whitecaps need a response.

Even without scoring in the opener, Vancouver created four big chances. They had plenty of opportunities and simply couldn't find the finishing touch.

With the starters expected back, I like their chances of changing that tonight.

That brings us to Brian White.

White has been in a bit of a slump lately, but this feels like the perfect matchup to get the monkey off his back.

He has 10 goals in 17 appearances for Vancouver this season. More importantly, he remains the primary goalscoring threat in this attack.

The books are projecting Vancouver to score at least twice tonight.

If they get there, I like White's chances of being responsible for one of them.

At even money, I'm willing to back him to get back on the scoresheet.

Play: Brian White Anytime Goalscorer (+100)
