I'll admit, the Leagues Cup has not been too kind to us so far. We are 5-6-1 and down 0.51 units. It's time to climb out of this hole and find some positivity in this tournament. With our record in mind, feel free to tail or fade, it doesn't matter to me, but here are my three favorites picks in the Leagues Cup tonight.

Leagues Cup: Tuesday's Predictions August 11
Charlotte FC vs. Pachuca Leagues Cup Picks
Tyger Smalls has scored twice for Charlotte in the Leagues Cup
Best Bet: Charlotte ML/Under 4.5 (+130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I'll admit, Charlotte's ML is playable by itself at -129, so I'm adding this inflated under to get a little greedy. These are the last matches of Phase 1. Teams have one more shot to add points and jump up the standings. Charlotte is already in a great spot with two shutout wins, and they have essentially already clinched a spot in the next round. But they might as well try for one more shutout win at home.
Pachuca has been awful, and they need a miracle to move up and qualify for the next round. They have netted just one goal each in their last two Leagues Cup matches, and have been outscored 8-3 on aggregate in their last four overall. Plus, dating back to last year's Leagues Cup contest, Pachuca has not beaten an MLS side in an entire calendar year. Plus, they will be without CB Sergio Barretto who picked up a red card in his last match. They might roll over and die.
Give me Charlotte at home in a low scoring match tonight.
Prediction: Charlotte Wins 2-0 (+875)
FC Cincinnati vs. Atlas Leagues Cup Picks
Evander has been playing like a superstar for FC Cincinnati over the past few months
Best Bet: Evander Anytime Goal Scorer (+110) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
I'm not typically a prop bettor on the pitch, but for this price, this is too good to pass up. Evander has been on another level for FC Cincinnati recently, and their matches have typically been high scoring. Tonight they face Atlas, who has allowed two goals to Charlotte and three to Columbus so far in the Leagues Cup, and two to Monterrey prior to this tournament. In all of those matches, we have seen the stud attacker for the opponent score.
Like Charlotte, FC Cincinnati has essentially clinched a spot, but I still expect this man to play, and if he doesn't, we get a void. He's only scored in one Leagues Cup match so far, taking nine total shots in two contests. But he has 11 goals in his last 11 matches in MLS play, averaging over two shots on goal per match.
Prediction: FC Cincinnati Wins 3-0 (+900)
Minnesota United vs. Atlante Leagues Cup Picks
Tomas Chancalay has Minnesota's only goal in two Leagues Cup matches
Best Bet: Under 3 (-132) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Nobody needs a positive result more than Minnesota. They've lost to FC Juarez at home, and drew with Tigres UANL but lost in a shootout. They face a Liga MX expansion side, Atlante, who do have a low scoring, shutout win over Vancouver. However, they were just shutout 4-0 by Real Salt Lake. Minnesota is playing for pride, while the Mexican side have a real shot at moving on if they can earn a point. Because of this, I think they focus heavily on defense tonight, as a nil-nil draw should be enough for them to move on to the next phase of this tournament.
Minnesota should be playing as hard as possible in front of their home fans, but they controlled just 41% of possession against Tigres and conceded 11 corner kicks. That doesn't give me too much confidence. However Atlante has controlled less than 46% possession in both contests, and have produced just five total shots on target. There won't be much offense in this match, but I do lean with Minnesota to pull out a low scoring win.
Prediction: Minnesota United Wins 1-0 (+800)
