But it is worth noting, this is both club's first appearance in the UEL Final. Last season, it was an all English Final as Tottenham took down Manchester United, and a German side has not won since Frankfurt did so in 2022.
Even though Freiburg has slightly more motivation, I see Aston Villa flexing their muscle to win. After losing to Tottenham at home, they are unbeaten in three straight matches, including a 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest and a 4-2 victory over Liverpool. SC Freiburg has won two of their last three, but they severely struggle away from home.
They are 0-0-4 in their last four matches on the road, having not won in over a month away from their own stadium. Today I simply think they are outmanned, as Aston Villa has much more talent to work with.
