We're coming off a 2-0 sweep in the last article, and now we have two more days of club footy.

After that, the long international break begins next week.

Today, I'm focusing entirely on the Premier League, where I have two spots that stand out.

Additionally, if you want all my thoughts on this weekend's matches, check out 90 Minutes to Glory on our YouTube channel. I also break down tonight's MLS slate and some other spots I'm targeting.

Tottenham vs. Aston Villa

Can McGinn and Villa get their first win of the EPL season today on the road?

In my opinion, this line is either a trap or one that is going to cash with ease.

I just can't find a world where I want to back anything involving Tottenham right now.

Spurs have yet to score through four Premier League matches this season. Their only victory came at home in the EFL Cup against Championship side Charlton Athletic.

More importantly, the performances haven't given me many reasons to expect an immediate turnaround.

Tottenham opened the season with a 3-0 road loss to Brentford. After that, they returned home and lost 2-0 to Newcastle without finding the back of the net.

Things haven't improved much since.

Spurs followed that loss with a scoreless draw at Nottingham Forest. Then, they returned home and played out another 0-0 draw against Everton.

Four Premier League matches. Zero goals.

There's simply no confidence in this attack right now.

Until Tottenham show me something different, I'm going to continue fading them.

Now, I can't sit here and tell you I'm completely confident in Aston Villa either. That would be a lie.

However, Villa have at least shown glimpses of quality and put together some impressive stretches of football.

They have only one loss across their last four matches, winning twice and drawing the other.

Additionally, their last two road performances have caught my attention.

Villa went to Coventry and won 3-1 in a match they controlled from start to finish. Yes, Coventry are a poor side, so I'm not going to overreact to that result.

Still, Villa handled a weaker opponent exactly how they were supposed to.

More importantly, they went on the road to Belgium with a 3-2 Champions League victory over Club Brugge.

Not many people gave Villa much of a chance in that environment. However, they showed up and were the better side despite the close scoreline.

Now, they're back on the road against a Tottenham team still searching for its first league goal.

Both clubs are also looking for their first Premier League victory, so the pressure will be high.

Neither side can afford to drop points here.

However, I trust what I've seen from Villa more than anything Tottenham have shown me.

Getting Villa to either win or draw at -120 is enough for me.

Until Spurs give me a reason to stop fading them, I'm going to keep doing it.

Play: Aston Villa Double Chance (-120)

Brighton vs. Arsenal

I'll start by saying this: I hate betting Arsenal overs.

We all know how Arsenal can play under Mikel Arteta.

Last season, we saw plenty of 1-0 and 2-0 victories where Arsenal controlled the match and slowly lulled us to sleep.

However, this season has been a little different.

We've seen a more aggressive Arsenal side, and they've already found themselves in several higher-scoring matches.

The Gunners scored three against Manchester City and another three against Coventry. Additionally, they put two past Chelsea, two past Sunderland, and most recently scored four against Ipswich.

Now, they travel to face a Brighton side that is absolutely clicking in attack.

Across seven matches in all competitions, Brighton have scored at least three goals five times.

Of course, they haven't faced a defense or midfield with Arsenal's quality.

Still, it's Brighton's style of play that makes this total so interesting.

They're one of the more aggressive pressing teams in the league and constantly close down opponents on the ball.

That could take this match in one of two directions.

On one hand, Brighton's press could force Arsenal into mistakes and create opportunities around the box.

On the other hand, that same aggression could leave Brighton completely exposed when Arsenal break through the initial press.

That's where this matchup could get really fun.

If Arsenal get forward with numbers, Brighton could be in for a long morning defensively.

At the same time, I don't expect Arsenal to grab a goal and simply shut everything down.

Brighton are too aggressive and too dangerous going forward for the Gunners to completely take their foot off the gas.

Ultimately, I think there's a scenario where Arsenal clear this total themselves.

However, I also believe Brighton find at least one goal in front of their home supporters.

The problem for Brighton is that they're facing what I believe is the best team in Europe right now.

When Arsenal need a goal, it almost feels inevitable that they eventually find it.

With Over 2.75 at plus money, I'm willing to bet this match opens up.

Play: Brighton vs. Arsenal Over 2.75 Goals (+100)
