FIFA World Cup
We're back!
It feels like it's been a while since I've put together some player props. The group stage is behind us, and we're already a few matches into the knockout rounds.
We've seen some incredible football over the past few days. From dramatic stoppage-time winners to a thrilling penalty shootout upset, this tournament continues to deliver.
Now we have another slate loaded with exciting matchups. Let's get into the plays.
Featured Plays
Nicolas Pépé 1+ Shot on Target

Pepe leads Ivory Coast into the knockout rounds after a two goal performance to secure their position.
If you've been following my content or listening to the shows, then you know how high I am on this Ivory Coast team.
I believe they have a real chance to win this match. Norway's back line has been average at best throughout the tournament.
We all know what Erling Haaland can do. If he takes over the match, there's not much anyone can do about it. Still, I like the matchup for Ivory Coast.
With Amad Diallo and Oumar Diomande around him, Pépé has consistently found space in dangerous areas. Both wingers have done an excellent job creating chances rather than forcing shots.
They have repeatedly delivered quality balls into the box. Pépé has often been on the receiving end of those opportunities.
As always, make sure your sportsbook voids non-starters if you're betting before lineups are released. I expect Pépé to start, but it's always worth being cautious.
He enters this match full of confidence after scoring twice in his last outing.
Pépé is averaging 1.21 shots on target per 90 minutes at this World Cup. He also averaged 0.94 shots on target per 90 minutes for Villarreal last season.
Over the last five years with Ivory Coast, he has averaged more than one shot on target per match.
If Ivory Coast fall behind, they will be forced to attack. That should only increase Pépé's opportunities.
I like his chances of finding space and testing the goalkeeper at least once in this matchup.
Play: Nicolas Pépé 1+ Shot on Target (-110)
Alexander Isak 1+ Shot on Target

Isak will need to shine for Sweden to have any chance against France in the knockouts.
This is likely where Sweden's World Cup run comes to an end.
Unfortunately for them, they draw one of the tournament favorites in France.
That said, I expect Sweden to go down fighting. I also expect Alexander Isak to continue his impressive tournament.
France remain vulnerable defensively at times. They have shown lapses in concentration and have made mistakes throughout the competition.
Sweden's front three of Isak, Viktor Gyökeres, and Anthony Elanga should still create opportunities.
Both wingers have a chance to test the goalkeeper. However, Isak remains my preferred play.
He had what many would consider a quiet match against Japan. Even then, he still managed two shots on target.
Injuries limited his time at Liverpool this season. When available in the Champions League, he averaged 1.89 shots on target per 90 minutes.
He also averaged 1.99 shots on target per 90 minutes for Sweden during World Cup qualifying.
Sweden should spend much of this match chasing the game. That game script will force them to attack and take chances.
With Isak's current form and accuracy, I like his chances of putting at least one effort on frame.
Play: Alexander Isak 1+ Shot on Target (+100)
