We are back with more Formula One this week! With only 7 races left to go the paddock heads to Singapore this weekend to race at Marina Bay.
There is a lot of story lines heading into this weekend like Max Vertsappens chase to win here which he has never done, this is also a very favorable track for the Ferrari car, and it is also the final sprint race weekend we will have this year.
I also have to mention this is one of my favorite races of the year purely just because of how beatiful this track is.

Singapore Grand Prix Breakdown & Analysis

The Marina Bay circuit is a temporary street circuit meaning it is not a permanent track. That causes the course to be bumpy, and dusty and really unforgiving to driver errors.
This track also has a ton of slow to medium corners causing very heavy breaking zones. Along with the fact it is a tight track which does not give much room for error or overtaking.
This race will also be held at night due to the day time temperatures frequently exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
With the lack of room on this track and the slower place that makes qualifying here at the upmost importance as pole winners win this race at almost a 70% rate.
Other key factors to win this race are managing the tires, getting the strategy right, and surving that very first turn of the race.
Free Practice, Sprint & Qualifying Results
With the sprint race this weekend teams only had one practice session to prepare for the race. In the one session we saw George Russell drive very well, though it is meaningless as he has a 40 place grid penalty this weekend.
In the sprint shootout, which is qualifying for the sprint race. We saw Max Verstappen dominate in all three sessions, followed closely by Russell, and Leclerc.
With gaining pole position for the sprint race Verstappen cruised to victory gaining additional points for him. He was closely followed by Lewis Hamilton, and Charles Leclerc of Ferrari.
In qualifying this week we saw more Verstappen domainace as he gained pole for the race. The Ferrari cars found their pace too as Leclerc and Hamilton placed second and third respectively.
Behind them were Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris.

Singapore Grand Prix Predictions & Best Bets

This is not a bettable number for us but I do think Max wins tomorrow. If you know Verstappen at all you know he is a psychopath and not having a win on this track probably drives him insane.
I expect Max to continue to be dialed in this weekend. Already qualifying P1 for tomorrow he already hast step one down to win this race all he has to do is keep it clean and on the asphalt tomorrow.
If you want some fun take either Ferrai driver to win the race tomorrow at +400 for Leclerc or +550 for Hamilton on Lucky Rebel. This track suits the Ferrrari cars very well.
Virtual and Safety Car During The Race – Yes -135 on Lucky Rebel
From 2008 to 2023 there was streak of this race always having a safety car. With the hot temperatures and possibly wet conditons that only ups the stakes of a crash happening.
Paired with the narrowness and heavy breaking zones of this track I expect this race to have a lot of chaos.
Driver to Finish The Race – Lance Stroll, No +100 on Lucky Rebel

I did not take this bet the last race out because the number was simply not good enough. But this week you give it to me at plus money? Yeah I am all over that.
Ive talked about it again and again, but Lance Stroll does not belong in Formula One. That Aston Martin car does not belong in Formula One. Lance Stroll is an driver only because of his father while we have much more deserving racers in Formula Two and Three.
