We only have a few days left in the international break before club footy finally returns.

I didn't love anything from the early Nations League slate today. So, instead, I'm taking a shot on tonight's CONCACAF matchup between Honduras and Jamaica.

I'm sure most people haven't been following this tournament too closely.

However, it's actually been pretty entertaining, and we've seen plenty of goals throughout the competition.

I think we could get another open match tonight.

More importantly, there's some real value in the betting market.

Honduras vs. Jamaica

The reverse fixture between these teams ended in a 1-0 Honduras victory in Jamaica last week.

However, Honduras probably deserved more from that match.

They controlled the majority of possession and consistently created opportunities in the final third.

The visitors finished with 14 shots, seven on target, and three big chances.

Now, they return home, where they've been extremely difficult to deal with.

Honduras have scored at least twice in eight of their last 10 home matches. Additionally, they've won six of those 10 games.

That home-field advantage is important here.

I expect a hostile atmosphere tonight, and that should give Honduras another boost from the opening whistle.

Jamaica, meanwhile, currently sit second in the group.

However, they'll be missing some important pieces for this matchup.

Their recent form has also been inconsistent, although I do like the way they respond when trailing.

Jamaica aren't afraid to increase the tempo and press higher when chasing a match.

As a result, their games can become very stretched if the opponent scores first.

That's exactly the type of game script I'm hoping for tonight.

Honduras rank inside the top 10 in big chances created during this tournament. They're also averaging roughly three to four big chances per match during this international window.

Therefore, I expect the hosts to find opportunities again.

If Honduras score first, Jamaica should have no choice but to push numbers forward.

That's where this match could really open up.

For the full-game bet, I like the protection we get with Over 2.

If this lands on exactly two goals, we get our money back. However, I think there's a realistic path to three or more.

First-Half Value

Are we in for a battle tonight in Honduras?

This is where things get a little more interesting.

Every Honduras goal during this tournament has come in the first half.

They've scored four goals across three matches, and all four arrived before halftime.

Meanwhile, Jamaica have conceded more than half of their tournament goals in the opening 45 minutes.

They've also scored a first-half goal in every match during this break except one.

That exception came against Honduras last week.

Still, I don't think that keeps me away from this number.

I expect Honduras to start quickly at home, especially with the crowd behind them.

If they score early, Jamaica will immediately be forced to become more aggressive.

From there, we could see the tempo rise very quickly.

At +400, Both Teams To Score in the first half is simply too appealing for me to ignore.

There's obviously more risk with this play.

However, the numbers support the angle, and the price gives us plenty of upside.

I also considered Honduras Team Total Over 1.5 Goals at plus money.

Still, I prefer using the full-game over as the main play and taking a smaller shot on the first-half market.

I'd play the full-game Over 2 for one unit.

Then, I'd risk somewhere between 0.25 and 0.40 units on First-Half Both Teams To Score.

If Honduras get the fast start I'm expecting, this could turn into a very entertaining night.
