Fight day is upon us and the wait is almost over for the exciting night of fights at UFC Vegas 115. The card may lack some star power, but MMA fans are excited for a night of fights none the less.
No bout as exciting as the Main Event though, as Chris Duncan will take on Renato Moicano. Both fighters have made a career out of putting on exciting fights with this bout sure to be no different.
The kill or be killed styles of both fighters should produce a brawl. The Co – Main is more of a grapplers delight, when Tabitha Ricci takes on Virna Jandiroba.
A classic Veteran vs Prospect type of match up, it certainly will produce a new #1 contender. Fight day is upon us and lines are moving so lets get right into a preview of the Main Card at UFC Vegas 115!

Main Event: Chris Duncan vs Renato Moicano Preview – Lightweight
Exciting Main Event Between Top Ranked Lightweights
An exciting lightweight Main Event awaits fans at UFC Vegas 115. Renato "Money" Moicano will take on fellow American Top Team teammate Chris Duncan.
The pair were never exclusive training partners but it must be mentioned they have trained together on several occasions. I believe it is safe to say the fighters are very aware of each other's skill sets and weaknesses.
Renato Moicano is looking to get back in the win column coming in on a 2 fight skid. In 2025 Moicano stepped up on very short notice to fight Islam Makhachev for the Lightweight title.
The bout ended rather quickly with Moicano being submitted early in the first round. As we have seen from many title challengers, Moicano did not bounce back in his next fight either looking career worse against Dariush.
The bout may have been a close decision but Moicano showed real signs of age, slowing down in the later rounds. A match up with such a young hungry prospect like Duncan can prove deadly for Moicano.
Duncan is on a completely different career trajectory as his opponent. The Scottish prospect is currently on a 4 fight win streak finishing 3 of those by submission.
Overall in the UFC Duncan has made quite the name for himself with exciting fights. In his UFC tenure Duncan has gone 6-1 with his lone loss coming at the hands of top prospect Manuel Torres.
Duncan is an aggressive striker with good takedown defense and even better submission skills. If he is taken down, Duncan has shown he is incredibly dangerous off his back with multiple submission victories.
This match up is clearly set up to propel Duncan to the top of the division but Moicano is a savvy veteran. MMA fans across the globe will be tuning in to see if Duncan can rise to the occasion.

Women's Strawweight Bout To Determine The Next Title Challenger
The Co – headliner of UFC Vegas 115 is certainly a bout with very high stakes. Former title challenger Virna Jandiroba will take on the rising prospect Tabitha Ricci in a #1 contenders bout.
The bout will decide weather Jandiroba gets another shot at Mackenzie Dern or if Ricci will finally get her title shot. Jandiroba had all her momentum killed in the loss to Mackenzie Dern for the title.
The bout was very close through out the duration, but the youth and speed of Dern took over in later rounds. Jandiroba is a phenomenal grappler but her hands have never quite caught up.
Father time is not doing her any favors either as she is now turning 38 years old. As proven time and time again, once the speed goes in this sport it is all down hill from there.
She will have a tough task in front of her with UFC golden child Tabitha Ricci. The self proclaimed "Baby Shark" has had some cherry picked match ups through out her career getting some UFC favor.
It must be mentioned that all though the UFC has set her up for success, she has had to earn her stripes. Ricci now has 10 UFC bouts in her tenure, going 7-3 on that run.
The prospect is currently coming off a huge KO win over top contender Amanda Ribas. Ricci is only 3-2 in her last 5 fights but both losses come to top contenders in the division.
It is safe to say the losses should be weighed a little differently. A big win here over Jandiroba will secure the title shot Ricci has fought so hard for since joining the UFC.
