Midweek college football is upon us once again, as we have a couple of CUSA matchups on the slate. The Delaware Blue Hens take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, while the Jacksonville State Gamecocks host the Florida International Panthers. In the early matchup, both teams are 2-3 on the season and coming off two straight losses. However in the later matchup, we have two teams with just two losses (FIU: 3-2, Jax State: 4-2), who are looking to extend their winning streak. Delaware vs. Middle Tennessee NCAA Football Expert Picks
Jo Silver and the Blue Hens are looking to bounce back with a road win after two straight losses tonight against Middle Tennessee
Best Bets: Delaware ML (-112) BetOnline
Here I think the Blue Hens are simply the much better team. Both are coming off multiple losses, including a Power Four matchup where neither was competitive. Delaware lost to Virginia 42-3 a couple weeks ago, and dropped a game to Liberty, 30-14, on October 2. As for the hosts, they lost to Jacksonville State 23-13, but last time out they lost to the Kansas Jayhawks, 55-0. Tonight's visitors have an extra day of rest, and I think it will show on the football field.
Middle Tennessee allowed 706 total yards of offense, they let the Jayhawks go 7/12 on third down and did not force a single turnover in the process. Meanwhile, they managed just 136 total yards and a 1/11 third down conversion rate. Even against Jax State, Middle Tennessee was out gained by over 200 total yards despite winning the turnover battle.
I trust the Blue Hens to bounce back, take care of the football, and ultimately win this game as a short road favorite.
Florida International vs. Jacksonville State NCAA Football Expert Picks
Caden Creel is a prolific runner. Will he see him use his legs to help win this game at home?

I will take the spread out of this equation tonight by backing the Gamecocks on this juicy moneyline. Caden Creel and company did not look great last Wednesday when they beat Kennesaw State by one on the road. Tonight, back at home, I see them getting a dominating win. Last year, the Gamecocks only conference loss came at the hands of Florida International, but that game was in Miami. Now the two go head to head in Jacksonville (Alabama).
I wanted to go back to Creel's rushing yards prop, as the man had 100+ against the Panthers last year, with stud RB Cam Cook on the team. Creel should be using his legs more than last week, as I expect the Gamecocks to be more sound defensively against this FIU offense. Ultimately, I don't like paying this much juice all the time, but with there not being any -2.5s out there for less than a dollar 20, I'm fine drinking the excess with this pick.
