Another exciting match in the UEFA Champions League happens on Wednesday in Germany as Inter Milan takes on Borussia Dortmund. Both teams are much further down on the UCL standings than they would like to be with just one League Phase match remaining, but regardless, they are both in a position to move on. Now, Inter Milan has already guaranteed themselves a spot in at least the knockout round, and there are slim hopes to sneak into the top eight. As for Dortmund, they are out of the running for the top eight, but need at least a draw to qualify for the knockout round. Chances of being eliminated get significantly higher with a loss. As for Inter Milan, they are tied with Juventus at 12 points a piece, but have the nod on goal differential, putting them No. 14 on the table. Chances to get into the top eight aren't very likely, but it is still possible. However they are already guaranteed to make it out of the League Phase portion of this tournament. Still, motivation should be high, even on the road, as they'll want to make things as easy as possible going forward.

I was looking at a couple of different wagers in this match, and the one that jumped out to me was Dortmund's team total under 1.5. However, this is incredibly juicy, priced at -164. But, if you pair it with Inter Milan to at least earn a point, we bring the juice down to a playable number.

We're taking Inter Milan to either draw or win, along with the hosts to score less than 1.5 goals. The juice is playable in my eyes, and I see Inter's defense coming to play. Sure, they just let Arsenal net three in Italy last week, but knowing how much is at stake, the Italians should figure things out and tighten up their back line. They shutout their first three UCL opponents before allowing goals to Kairat Almaty, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal. The three latter teams are all better than Dortmund (in my opinion).
The visitors should know what they are up against. Dortmund is a very explosive offense, but fails to cover themselves on the defense end. This should lead to Inter Milan playing cautious, conservative, but also trying to take advantage of counter attacks and the chances they are given.
Overall, I expect this to be a very tight game where the hosts are limited in scoring chances thanks to phenomenal defensive play from the Italian visitors.
