Sunday brings us a six match slate in the English Premier League as clubs are down to their final two matches. Now typically there might not be much motivation in these contests, but with seeding still up for grabs, you can expect teams to bring their best this weekend. Things get started very early as Manchester United host Nottingham Forest at 7:30 a.m. eastern, so let's check out our favorite EPL picks across the whole slate.

Manchester United needs a single point to guarantee their third place finish in the EPL. Even if they lose their final two matches, Aston Villa would need to go on the road and beat Manchester City AND make up nine goals in terms of differential to catch the Red Devils. It ain't happening. However, in front of their home crowd, I still see this club giving the Old Trafford fans something to cheer about in their final home match of the year.

They played to a 2-2 draw on the road earlier this year, but United have not beaten Forest in three straight head to head matches, losing two of those straight up. Their last victory over Nottingham came in the 2024 FA Cup. In EPL play, they have not earned three points over this club since August of 2023. Even though they can't move up or down, look for them to finally get a win over this club.

Forest has little to play for, but they are safe from relegation. I could see them strolling into Manchester ready to receive a beating before being sent home.

Prediction: Manchester United Wins 2-0 (+800)

Another Sunderland under. Get used to it. Last week, we cashed Sunderland vs. Manchester United for the same bet when they played to a scoreless draw. Now, the Black Cats are not at home in this match, but I still have plenty of faith in their back line. Back in November, these teams played to a 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light. We only had five combined corner kicks and shots on goal. In January they met in this stadium in the FA Cup, and once again saw a 1-1 draw. Everton needed an 89′ minute penalty to force extra time, where they eventually lost. Neither match produced much offense.

I don't see anything changing. All year long, Sunderland has relied on their defense to earn points, and Everton can't move up enough on the table to make being overly aggressive worth it. Get ready for a boring 90 minutes of soccer in this match.

While I have placed money on the Wolves double chance, I did have thoughts of doubling down and sprinkling on this draw at +280. Nothing crazy, just a half unit, because this just feels like a stale match in my head.

Fulham shutout the Wolves in November at home, but I see the Wanderers being a little frisky. They have nothing to play for but pride. They are being relegated at the end of the season. This is their last EPL match in front of their home town fans for at least the next year. I see them coming out with at least a little bit of fight in them, hopefully enough to earn a point.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+600)
