Manchester City got the best of Everton when the two played back in October. At the Etihad, Manchester City shutout their visitors, winning 2-0. They also won 2-0 on the road last April as well. It's been a while since Everton has successfully taken down Manchester City, and former City winger Jack Grealish will be eager to help his new club beat his former, but it is going to be a tall task.
All the motivation lies with Manchester City. They are fighting for the top spot of the EPL table, while Everton's chances of qualifying for the Europa League next year are pretty much gone. A point doesn't help them much, and I think three is asking for way too many against this caliber of an opponent. Let's look at the betting odds and find out what we are wagering on.

We are backing City to win, plain and simple. However, I don't think it gets out of hand. Could City win this match 4-0? Absolutely. And it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, as goal differential could be the reason they take the league title from Arsenal. There is plenty of motivation for them to run up the score as much as possible, but again, I don't see a combined five goals from the clubs.
I also endorse City to win to nil, which is priced around +175 if you want more bang for your buck. Everton have certainly been better at home this year, but not necessarily against top clubs. They have avoided being shutout in four straight matches, but they've allowed two from their opponents in three consecutive matches as well.
Ultimately, City has nothing left to focus on. Yes, they have the FA Cup finals in a couple of weeks, but until then, earning as many points in the EPL to keep up with the Gunners should be their top priority. That includes going on the road today and earning three points against a club who has very little left to play for.
