There's only a few more Sundays left without any NFL action, however there will always be some EPL or MLS going on for the next few weeks and beyond to keep us entertained. To close out the month of August, the English Premier League has four matches on Sunday morning, while the MLS brings us an afternoon and an evening contest. Let's take a look at our expert soccer picks for the slate!

Soccer Expert Picks: Sunday's Predictions August 30
Chelsea vs. Brighton & Hove Albion EPL Picks
Best Bet: Chelsea Team Total Over 1.5 (-130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
While I also endorse Chelsea to get the win for slightly less juice, I am much more confident in them scoring two than holding on for a win. We saw on Monday, the Blues offense came out screaming against Fulham in their EPL opener, but they gave up the lead once, and let the hosts cut it back down to one late in the match. Brighton is coming off a 4-0 thumping of Aston Villa, but was that truly a test? They are in for a wake up call at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.
I do expect the Blues to win, but ultimately this offense should take it to Brighton, who really weren't tested in their season opener or in their UEFA Conference League qualifying contest earlier this week. However I believe that will change on the road in this match.
Prediction: Chelsea Wins 3-1 (+1100)
Manchester United vs. Ipswich Town EPL Picks

Best Bet: Ipswich Town +1.5 (-130) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
This line has been ticking down all week, and I'll finally pull the trigger at a buck 30. It was listed at -150 to -160, but people have faith in the Tractor Boys, or perhaps they do not have any belief in Manchester United. I sure don't. You would certainly expect them to bounce back in their home opener after losing on the road to Hull City. But Ipswich has the pieces to keep this one extremely close. I don't hate taking the +1.25 as well at -103, but be prepared for a push/win scenario if they lose by one exactly, which is what I expect.
On paper, Manchester United should murder this team. Especially considering the circumstances. But I believe the visitors can keep it cagey, be pests to their hosts, and maybe slip away with a point. Regardless, I like the under 2.5 at plus money as well, as I think Manchester United barely squeaks out a 1-0 win. But perhaps they find themselves fighting for a 1-1 draw if they concede early.
Prediction: Manchester United Wins 1-0 (+700)
St. Louis City SC vs. FC Dallas MLS Picks

There isn't any juice associated with the home side here, and it's no secret that this team is light years better at Energizer Park. St. Louis City SC is 6-1-2 at home this year, averaging 1.78 goals per match. I see them putting up a couple here which should be enough to win this game. Along with their six wins, City has two home shutouts as well, and I don't trust this FC Dallas offense.
This will be their ninth straight match on the road. They drew with St. Louis at home earlier in the season, giving up a one goal lead in the 61′ minute after an early second half go ahead goal. The visitors are coming off a 5-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps, and while Sunday's hosts aren't as strong, they are still the side I want to back in this match. Give me St. Louis in dominant fashion.
Prediction: St. Louis City Wins 3-1 (+1200)
