City hosts Palace at Etihad Stadium in preparation for their FA Cup Final match against Chelsea this weekend. Why would I expect anything to change from last match? City is coming off a shutout win over Brentford at home. They know exactly what is at stake. This team NEEDS three points in this contest today, and it wouldn't hurt to bump up their goal differential in case that comes into play down the stretch. Manchester City certainly has the fire power to make it happen.

As for Crystal Palace, they are limping their way to the finish line. After trading away Eberechi Eze and Marc Guéhi, they have gone down hill. In fact, in their last head to head meeting, Guéhi still played for Crystal Palace. He was a huge part of their defensive success, but now he is playing for the other side. That should make it much easier on City to create chances and find the back of the net. Plus it helps their defensive presence.

Palace were shutout by AFC Bournemouth in their last EPL match on the road, scoring just once against Liverpool in the game prior to that. I do not trust this offense against an extremely motivated Manchester City back line, and I see the hosts making very light work of their visitors today at the Etihad.
