City lead the league with 45 goals through their 21 matches, and rank second defensively, giving up less than a goal per match. In fact, City are one of two teams to allow less than 20 goals throughout the year so far. Will their defense come to play in this Derby match on the road?

Manchester City have now won two straight heading into this match after three consecutive draws in the EPL. They already shutout this United team in the early Derby match at the Etihad, and I don't think anything changes the second time around. Sure, United will be more comfortable at home, but we have to recognize the dominance City have had recently over their crosstown rival.
I was worried about Manchester City facing Newcastle United on the road this week in the Carabao Cup. But they showed up and got the win, plus they were able to have some of their studs either rest completely or not play the full 90 minutes. Point being, their best 11 will be well rested and ready to go early on Saturday morning.
City just signed Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth and he made a statement right away, having scored in his last two matches with the club. This absolutely adds more attacking fire power to the best offense in the league, and takes some pressure off of Erling Haaland to do it all. In fact, adding Semenyo up top takes away some attention from Haaland, leaving opposing defenses more vulnerable as they have to cover both sides of the pitch with the same level of priority. Ultimately, this is too good of a price to pass up on City, as I would've made them closer to -125 or -130 favorites, even being on the road.
